Well just yesterday we did some shorts for university with minor stunts and beat-up situations. While it's supposed not to hurt it really does. I can imagine that if Bale did some action in that shot he's pretty pissed if he has to do it again just because some idiot doesn't know his job. Pretty epic, could imagine something like this in the next Scarry Movie Part

We all got bad days and we all do stupid things, Bale is just very unfortunate to have everything he does at work getting recorded

word is this guy has a habit of constantly and repeatedly tweaking and changing lighting mid-take, and that people who have worked with him (and currently work under him) consider this explosion a long time coming.

There's always more to a story, it's just the way actors have to be handled. I can't imagine many people in any industry being able to just shake this shit off and come in the next day as if nothing happened. The fact that an outburst may have been called for doesn't negate the fact he was being a total dick. Do this shit in private at least, not on an open set in front of crew.

People are not always composed and it might be that Bale figured it was someone elses job (ie director) to say that in private to him and the frustration probably just finally built up to the point where he exploded. You cant judge bale for something we all do from time to time.

Most likely, he is thinking the same thing as you right now, that it was wrong of him.

Yeah pretty much redeemed. He seems like a nice guy and I understand why he was so crazy that day, he simply takes his work really seriously.

Christian Bale is still a cool guy, I like actors who are really dedicated to the character they're playing. Heath Ledger was one of them .

Bale = Normal guy who had a freak out and then fixed that problem THAT day. (too me he seems more human than half of the actors out there)
