My driving license expired in january, I still haven't renewed it

The first license (called temporary license) expires after a year. if you don't get any fines in a year you are eligible for the final license, which expires every 5 years.

I just hope no cops find me driving with an expired license, otherwise I'll lose it... (and consequently having to wait for another year until I'm eligible to get the temporary license again)

So you just renew it every five years without any problems?

i've never owned a driver's license...or a car....one day..
