    It isn't coincidence the Turkish made it this far, althought they admittedly had a bunch of players from their core team sitting on the bench and Germany played unexpectedly weak. But that's nothing new - Germany plays the opposite way from how it's expected from them, it has been that way the entire tournament. Not always good, but whenever they had a chance last night, they scored (better than winning from a penalty shootout if you ask me). Germany is in the final, Turkey is not - it's the result that counts

    Btw: How crazy were those disconnects? There was audio only for a while, it felt like 1954. Going outside after the match was great too, people were EVERYWHERE, the biggest crossing here was packed with people. Went partying afterwards, good times!

    The performance of the german team was weak yesterday. But at least they played effective (what else can you expect at minimum from germany?).

    But if you think Turkey would deserve it more to be in the final then you already forget how weak they played for the whole tournament before yesterdays game. They had great team spirit and got the luck a few times to score the necessary goals. Respect for that. But their lucky streak had to end one day.

    Personaly i couldn't enjoy yesterdays game. First half was shit and then the technical problems. It left me with more anger then happiness the moment the match was over. I felt like robbed from a historic moment.

    In the final germany has to play a lot better if they want to win. But i'm confident. For some reason germany usualy plays better against good teams. When playing again decent teams but underdogs you always get the impression the german players are afraid to loose their face and it makes their legs weak(see croatia, austria, turkey game).

    yeah the technical problems were kind of funny. Public Viewing with 1,5k people and bamm the screen goes grey. first everyone cried and then the commentators voice came and everyone was silent - felt like being in church or something like that ^^

    what a terrible game. it was really boring, thats how one-sided it was.. spain deserved to win, no question about it... but i am really embarassed by the lack of performance by the german team... you dont win a championship if you are only wake for the first 15 mins of the game.

    Spain won, they deserved it. In the end it wasn't even that important who they would beat in the final. Germany finished as 2nd, that's still a lot better than most of the other teams...in fact all of them except for one

    Not a ahter just annoyed that they played like shit in everygame and got lucky by being in the final. Many more teams in the tourny than them that were more deserving of a final.

    thats so not true, they played some great games against poland, portugal, turkey... Stop being bitter because your countries didnt qualify or get past round 1. lol

    Read that again maybe. You don't reach the final by pure luck. IMO any team that reaches the final is there for a reason. And if somebody deserved to be there more than Germany then maybe that team should have been as consistent as Germany and not lost the quarter finals or screwed up in the group stage. Germany won every game except Croatia and well..the final obviously. if they played sooo badly then why did the other teams lose against them?

    Germany certainly isn't known for playing the most beautiful football in the world but they score goals when it counts and they are consistent... Except when they are busy shitting their pants against good finalists or underdogs... :roll:

    Turkey almost lucked out. Ask anyone though and they will say the final was the most boring final they have seen in a long time
