I've also got a G15 rev.1 keyboard and an MX1000 mouse at work I actually kinda prefer the MX1000 and rev.1 keyboard, but they aren't so readily available so might be kinda tricky to hunt down.

I would suggest you check out Altec Lansing's MX5021. Very good tight bass and a good vibrant set of satellites. 2.1 though.

Mouse: Logitech MX518. Excellent value for money. Want quick reflex mouse? Get a Razer.

Keyboard: I bought a mechanical keyboard priced ~3x more than most membrane keyboards. Keys feels lighter/click-ier than any membrane keyboard and it will last for years without any problem Look if you can find one.
