GTA IV PC!!!

There are also older versions of this "mod" that'll work on most any games. I've got the DX8 version made for Vice City in my Freedom Fighters directory- it's kinda buggy and in places way brighter than it should be, but occasionally it looks AWESOME:

I'd agree with that claim.

If "the new GTA games" are everything after GTA 3: Vice City, then I'm inclined to say I see it the same way you do.

Vice City was the best of them all!

And the worst, was definitely that piece of crap with read the ruless on it!

I'll play GTA4 when it comes to PC, don't want to play it on PS3.

San Andreas was an amazing game, especially once you got to Vegas. The setting and characters weren't as interesting as Vice City's (CJ was rather wooden, and I hated how much he built himself up only to instantly fall down to rock bottom cause his brother said he wasn't cool unless he acted like a worthless thug again, and the game treated this like a right and proper conclusion), but the gameplay elements, world size, fighter jets, casino heist, etc. were so worth it.

vc is one of the best games ever, and i base this solely on location and atmosphere. i once lead a double life as an italian gangster in the 80s miami...
