Ah, reminds me of my starting days way way back in the day...when those damned apes ruled things and we humans were rounded up like cattle!

But anyhow, too much to suggest, so I'll just give some pointers:

    1. Try to stay away from filters. By this I mean never using the render clouds filter again, ever. Ever.

    2. Go to http://www.phong.com and learn some tutorials, it's good stuff and where I learned a lot of my basics

    3. Watch out for lines horizontally, diagonally, and vertically across your texture, the brick and windows one has this in spades.

    4. A good thing to think about when making textures is "How was this object or place used? How new is it? How much traffic does it see? Is is worn out or brand new? Chipped, corroded or well maintained?" This will help with your over all feel and atmosphere in maps.

However I like your color selections for these textures, though in my opinion they could be darker.
