When you are shooting skateboarding, make sure you get the entire person in the shot, without cutting off limbs or his head.

Yeah I try to do that as much as possible, but sometimes it's really hard to get the skater entirely in your shot, but I'll keep practicing on taking skateboarding pics, I like doing it

You must take low angle shots in order to have the whole body. Don't hesitate to squat or to lay you down

Check some skateboarding pictures as example.

Seconded, some pretty awesome pictures! Although i never skated, I really like the "in action" shots, very dynamic.

My favourite on this page is this one, especially the light on the white building and the other are in the shadow. You caught it inthe right moment man.

Maybe cut the left 1/5 of the image near the light, the left street distracts the viewer IMO.

the picture would be nearly square then (no pun). If you come to reshoot it maybe shift more to the right side in order to have it "move" to the left (like a shipnose) or to the right and create a more symmetrical mirror line in the picture (so that the corner is right towards the spectator, like the sharp side of a blade). if possible or use a lower focal length (wider FOV), which will increase the perspectival tilt. also if not intended try to avoid falling lines (vertical perspective). i see you shot from ground level and upward so naturally the building looks thiner at the top but i'd go either with stressing this effect (again wider fov) or try to avoid it completely (by lens tubes or photoshop in such a minor correction).

i like the contrast of the different parts of the picture, but imo they don't fit the final composition. the sky is too much in midtones, while the building (major element) is clearly divided into darks and highlights. if you want to maintain a low contrast within the clouds to stress the building more, brighten up the sky (blue/green filter).
