I never buy Collectors editions, but for 30 bucks more for an art book this was a good deal

Art books and sometimes soundtracks are the only reasons I buy collectors editions.

Hoodie is very nice and comfie (just be sure to get it 1 size larger than your regular size)! Love Valve T-shirts cause they have designs and dont just slap logos on them.

Oh damn I'd love a Black Mesa hoodie. Always wanted some of those TF2 tshirts too... might have to get an order in at Valve soon

Been thinking about buying one of the TF2 t-shirts for ages now, but the last couple of times they've been sold out in the sizes I wanted. That hoodie does look quite nice as well, might do some Valve merch shopping too~~

like poster #2 says, it's higher quality and you can oc and mod stuff yourself, unlike non ref models. I never buy non ref anymore

This is the ref design for 780 gtx:

Non ref cards don't have the reference design because it would be more costly to make them. Thus you get cheaper, non-replaceable parts on non refs, and you're locked into whatever configuration the manufacturer has set for you. By contrast you can pretty much do anything to a ref card, including flashing its bios, replacing coolers yourself etc. In other words, if your card goes faulty after the warranty expires, you're pretty much fucked if you don't have a ref card. This combined with the fact that you can't sure the cooling doesn't always cool the card properly on non refs is pretty much the reason I never get them anymore.
