After playing the Uncharted games, I can't see how you could actually play them on PC without it being very fiddly, I gave up playing Tomb Raider anniversary because I had to break my fingers to get some of the combos right but with the controller it works perfectly. On the FPS side though, you just can't get the accuracy on the console controls that you can with keyboard and mouse. Consoles are great for thirdperson games but when it goes FPS you really need the PC imho.

Playing a console first person shooter is like bowling with bumper lanes. You still have fun because you're not guaranteed to knock down all the pins but there's definitely less skill involved.

Got two crowns and one inlay for my teeth this week. After eleven months of constant dentist visits. These things cost a fortune. Teeth stuff is so expensive even with insurance :/ Should have brushed my teeth better as a kid.

Oh man, I tottaly second that. I had a root canal treatment like 4 years ago, it got infected and I had to remove the infected gum on top of the tooth last week, it was either that or extract the tooth.

And in a couple of months, I'll remove all 4 wisdom teeth.

My insurance is covering for everything so far, not sure if it will cover the wisdom teeth too.

Unfortunate. I'm having just one removed soon. I get the choice of staying concious or not. I asked to be put out just to see what its like haha.

And it's safer to go for IV sedation (If it's the lower molar) that way they don't need to inject the anesthesia into your nerve, which may damage it.

Are you insuranced in Germany now? They should pay for it then if its medicaly necessary. Could be that you have to pay for IV sedation tho since local anaesthetic is the standard. But you could try to explain that you are phobic and that you need full sedation to get full coverage for everything.

Yep, it's one of the good things here in Germany, insurance covers for a lot of stuff, including dentist, and they can be very expensive!

don't you guys have dentist schools that can work this out for you? i got 2 teeth done complete with root canals cleaned out, in addition to removal of 1 wisdom tooth for free...

I wouldn't go to a dentist school with root canals. It's something that only experienced and specialized dentists (so called endodontists) are good at.

Sure they have to learn it somewhere but please not in my mouth. I only have one set of teeth.

I had two root canals done at normal dentists. One of them turned out to be too short so there is nerve remaining in the tooth and it must be redone earlier or later. The other one the dentist misjudged the position of the root completely. So he pierced my tooth on the side by accident and was messing around deep inside my gums with his needles instead of the tooth.

it's like your dead, you sleep without dreaming - time doesnt exsist! IMO everyone should go through this at least once so they can see what death is really like

naturally it's all supervised. i've been done for a good long while now, and i haven't had any problems since. i guess you could consider that to have some sort of quality.

Madworld was OK but I couldn't stick with it, I feel like the black and white design wasn't an initial concept but thrown in halfway in dev or something when it turned out they couldn't match the wii's memory limits with their textures or something, because in a lot of levels it just makes shit impossible to identify or navigate.
