    Classic Swedish Doom Metal

Nice album, I really like Candlemass.

I finally got this a bit late, Drone Doom goodness (one of my favorite bands, they're outstanding), only covers from several bands (The Cure, Slayer, Codeine, Swans etc):

    And this:

Amazing album for an amazing band, sounds slightly like Australasia by Pelican.

Just started it, not very far in yet but it's pretty interesting. Hard to describe certain things without spoiling a lot but it has a pretty clever way of telling the story by having you replay the past of the dead you find on the ship you're exploring.

Also, at certain moments it looks incredible.

In Ex-Soviet Bulgaria, things are cheaper than you *Loads of metal albums*

Goth I have never heard of any of that lot, recommended?

I'm interested in this one but the reviews I saw were all poor and I don't know if it'd even run on my ancient machine...

Well, if you're interested in some Bulgarian Metal, be aware that you'll hardly find stuff like that anywhere, it's even kinda hard to find in Bulgarian shops, let alone in online shops. If you're into Emperor-style Black Metal, then Inspell is perfectly suited for you. Check out their MySpace page, their stuff is mindblowing. If you're looking for something Korpiklaani or Ensiferum like, then Balkandji might be something for you (check their myspace as well). Their older stuff is more comedic and less innovative and epic I'd guess, while their newer stuff is musically more interesting, with lyrics resolving around fantasy stories of spirits and the like. In the Death/Thrash scene, Symbolic and Cupola are more or less known names, however, I don't know whether they have released any full-fledged albums yet. Mystica on the other hand sounds a bit like a heavier variant of Dream Theater, still interesting though.

I went to the H R Giger museum here in Frankfurt today, and omgwtfbbq! I loved his work before, but be there and see his creatures, and his original paintings, it's just pure awesome!

(For those interested, here's the link of the museum and some photos, if you live nearby, tomorrow is the last day)

So yeah, I went ahead and bought this book:

sega haven't released an english version so i'll have to rely on gamefaqs. i was going to import yakuza 3 too but the story/characters are my favourite part of the series, and it costs £50-80.

Haven't had any problems with pc version of GOW myself.

I wish I had your guts, it looks absolutely brilliant but I can't be bothered to play something I don't understand. Been playing Yakuza 2 on/off for the last couple of months and I'm really liking it~hopefully they will release Yakuza 3 with english subs sometime soon.
