As a replacement for my Asus Commando which bios failed during update and which is soon to be RMA'd. I tried unlimited amount of ideas to fix this but no luck.

    Aye, very nice stepp!

I bought a PS3 not so long ago, and luckily I managed to get a 60gb one, so I can play PS2 titles with it, with AA!

You only get second hand 60gb PS3 nowadays tho, and they cost a fortune since those who have it, don't sell it that easily!

Wait, what? The original PS3 does AA on PS2 games?!

God damn. I really hope there eventually comes a cheaper way to do that because I'd love to replay the MGS games with AA.

Yep, and not only that you can run PS2 games at higher resolutions, 1080p!

It obviously wont make the textures of the games high res, but it does make the picture much, much, sharper and cleaner!

there's a light at the end of the tunnel for those who don't have 60gb PS3 tho: http://www.n4g.com/News-263220.aspx

Edit: ah wait, that supposedly only works on 60gb PS3... Since It's the only one who has a PS2 chip on it.

Although, I've heard that when SONY gives up on PS2, they will release a firmware update for PS3 with software emulation for PS2 games.

I really hope so. I've got a PS2 Slim, but I'd really like to replay my favourites in 1080p and with AA.

I suppose if worst comes to worst I could buy a really old 60GB PS3 one day once people no longer see much use in it.

Sony makes really bad marketing decissions this generation. Maybe i would have bought a PS3 if all of them had PS2 compatibility...

Exactly, you made the exact decision they wanted you to make. Buy a PS2 to play "old" games. Cos they feel there's still some juice to be extracted from that console...

but oh well, I do agree it's pretty retarded launch a console with backwards compatibility then take it away just like that.

Despite of people say of this game, that CoD4 is much better, blah, blah. I decided to give CoD5 a go, and boy am I surprised!

This is it, this is pure good old WW2 CoD style action, and it's great! I'm half way through, and loving it so far... Especially loved the sniping Russian missions!

    Oh and...

I know, I know... I just felt like playing it again! Kick ass classic!

I got Call of Duty World at War for DS, it's by far the best shooter I have played on the system.

Its part of my new movement to rid myself of this horrible achievement point addiction that I have. I think this game looks awesome (Its the first game I've bought for the Wii in over a year ). Its cooking mama, just with context!

Is that some kind of collection you're building or do you actually play all these old games, Quakis?

Good to see some fine games like Outlaws on there, though.

Both really, I'm just a little slow on the playing side since I take my time too much (Still playing through System Shock 2) According to the list I've put together on Mobygames, I have around 247 PC games in total (and counting) There's still a lot of old stuff I want to play (and own) So it'll be a while before I complete my collection.
