    Because photo textures are shit unless you know what you're doing and I don't, I prefer to take what worked one way and use it another. It's not like I rip things off, I change them so they work for what I want, it's the way I've always made textures...

    none of these textures should be used in a mod unless you have tracked down the offer and got explicit permission from them. Mapcore is watching and we have hitman who will find you and murder your dog.

    they're URLs not downloaded from the mapcore site. Mapcore bandwidth is for forum use only.

    I'd suggest again, tracking down the actual owner of the texture before using them. Its the polite, respectable, proffesional thing to do.

    oh, well. need to get into texturing myself anyways.

    does anyone have any tips as to where to begin, conserning texturing? I have a Wacom tablet, just so you know.. :roll:

    Erm, since all these textures have been posted in one massive thread with no credits, it is a little hard for people to track down the authors. I mean, how many authors are there? 5? 10? 50? 100?

    Perhaps the pack overall could have credits for all the people that contributed, and then anyone wanting to use a texture would credit everyone on that list, cause tracking down the author of one individual author seems a little impractical unless someone remembers specifically who submitted what.

    It's not hard. You just read the name next to person that submitted the texture in this thread. What's so hard about that?

    Most people who come here randomly looking at these textures and posting without thinking dont realize there is a sister thread (at least there was last time I checked) that had the authors and their textures.
