wow then it's a big fail on my side
but please give some insight on that background because it looks totally wrong on my computer o_O

well I only "critizied" what i circled red and that seems to be all photoshop related stuff then (as you said the bg is pp.) it's not a big deal for a "fun" photography but imagine you are doing shots for some kind of pr-campaign you'd have to think about the background implantation and that's why im pointing it out here. it's nothing wrong with just pasting some background in but it really helps a lot if you think about exact layermasks or fill options (easy multiply or add + rough layermask would have done the job already). It's nitpicky to point it out maybe but I'd rather have a bunch of critics than a class full of people who don't see it at all.

woha, interesting look. i like the DOF in there but the image composition is a bit confusing. He's on the left side of the pic and looking to the left so there's too much "wasted" (uninteresting) space on his right. Also I'd have gone further away for a half-total shot or closer to really only get the part above his armpit to avoid that high-contrast spot with the "white" background and the black shirt around it. Lighting is cool, no dropshadows, yet modelling the face very well. Don't know if you have a kicker set up in there - can't really see one, for the particular image I'd not even be sure if it'd work but might be something that can add additional depth. I like that you left alot of space above his head, really adds to the composition's proportions.

fantastic perspective - kinda looks like you photgraphed the photographers as your main subject

Wow, this one is my absolute favorite!, only thing that bothers me a little is that the sky is really empty and plain...
They all look amazing, nice environments, great lighting, great atmosphere!
Nothing to add except for one thing that caught my eye, in your first pic (the one with the ghost
) there is a lens flare in the bottom left corner, It doesn't really fit in with the photo IMO... -
great pics! what punky said: the sky looks a bit plain, no gradient, no texture.

I think you could profit from that though. Are you into HDRi a little bit? Overcast skies are often freaking amazing, using a HDR treatment. They give to the shot a very strong atmosphere and by seeing your shot with this abandoned building, sure you could catch some breathtaking photos.

Well, for starters, HDR photography is an abomination. Its disgusting and over used. My opinion on this wont change unless the technology drastically changes or the photo community learns how to do it correctly (overdone ugliness) But even after that I am still not sold on what it does to images, its soft and the colors are ugly. And if I were to do HDR in these situations I would have been there triple the current long ass time I was there as HDR requires bracketing all your shots either 2, 3, or five exposures up and down. (not that bullshit single shot HDR you see everywhere (even though there are some companies that are close to cameras being able to shoot all single shots with the dynamic tonal range of a bracketed image)) And with how long some of these shots took to take, I didn't feel like doing that. Anywhoo...
My town's overcast is not a normal one, its a 'lake effect' overcast. Instead of cool cloud formations and awesome dark grey clouds or anything of the like, its a solid 50% grey gradient most of the time. No cloud shapes/formations or anything, just a low lying grey. (fucking shoot me now) so even with HDR, you still wont get anything from the sky.
