Great industrial photos! Luv the style but it's more reporter than art photography.

What do you mean by this? (Thanks though)

When I go to places like this I try to capture the essence of the place with images that contain as much information as possible (I guess thats the level designer in me wanting good refs ) But I like to capture the large "epic-ness" of these old places while capturing as much detail as possible. I hate how many people would take dumb/generic/over done close up texture shots, shots of toilets, or like close ups of small gears ect. If I see another paint-peeling close up I might vomit!

I guess that sort of explains it, its kind of difficult to express what is going on in MUH HEAD

EDIT: Here are the images that got changed or something weird

i think i have a weakness of panorama shots and how they distort reality. what camera do you use for those shots?

These were taken with my own personal camera as opposed to a rented one from my school

    Canon 40D with a 17-85mm f/4 Image Stabilized lens

Not macros of an ant but some details. Not just "room", "another room" but get closer to some details and look for a nice shot fro mdifferent perspective (not like from human's eyes). New photo with vertical panorama is something more like that...

wow i really really like the first one jean! The fur on the coat was captured lovely!

As for the second one i really like the background and the colours of the background. Kinda gave me this eeery matrix esque feel (really clean and shiney). But the girl in the photo makes absolutely no sense and has a wierd pose :S

First shot looks great, only thing annoying me are the branches in the foreground, the branches don't contrast enough with the model, and are too blurry, it almost looks like the fur of the model's jacket is flowing over with them... And she still has some spots on her skin, to the left of her lip.

Other than that it looks really nice!

Second one is great too, nice background nice model, but yeah, her pose is quite unnatural, especially her left leg. And it looks like she has 'walls' (don't know if it's the right word for that) under her eyes.

the foreground shopping is pretty nice but the background shop lacks so much it hurts. c'mon you can do better! good job on the lightning anyway (some good plasticity in that face).

it seems you pasted the background lines in with ps and it's not done very well. the shadow has obvious seems, the lines are blurry and the shadow doesn't interact with those lines (it's either shadow or background but no merging here)
