More 4x5, this time not studio stuff, its out in da field (and no we couldnt have lights with us, so its just natural lighting)

Its a bit contrasty, I know (damn valvia) and yes, the first one is a bit out of focus

Nice - 2cents though:

The Lighting could have been different without using another light by just placing a reflector in the opposite direction to the sunlight, allowing for some less hard shadows on the not sun-lit half of the face

In the second picture it seems like you blocked out black in the tone-map (or gradiant or whatever you used). And it loses depth on the shadows much too soon - there are some heavy cuts into the actual motive with the (not-black) background

that's awesome noise reduction

the colors are nice and the general mood but there are some flaws in the cropping and I don't know how long you exposed every frame of it but the water would have benefited from some longer shuttertime I think

Its a $4600 camera, so it better have good noise reduction

I know there are flaws in matching each image but each shot was 1/30 a second handheld
