The second one is a little crooked I know
-
First one's nice but the second one seems to lack any real focus.
-
Definitely agree, I just thought it was cool.
It also helps if you look at the second one in its original resolution

i see what you did there

well - good photos, I'm not too impressed by the fireworks one (though I know they are hard to catch but Fireworks-Fotos are always all or nothing) - maybe it's just a little bit too bright.
the portrait of the old guy on the other hand is superb. I don't know why but I like the way the picture is composed (colorwise and DOF)
-
Well thanks
I would post more but nah you guys dont care bscly

woot - that cam is absolutely awesome.... I've been thinking about getting a digital one of those (but the money is the problem
) - where do you got yours? -
Neat stuff here.
The studio work is cool although I think the light should be softer. Right now it's pretty harsh and there is a line of shadow running through her face which I find a bit distracting.

Yeah I definitely agree, I was just messing around

i really love the fireworks photo its so perfect, the color and sharpness and everything.

yes I know... have been thinking about saving money for a sinar for quite a while but I don't think I'll ever be able to afford one
33 MP with Liveview via Firewire sounds too great.Oh and Blunka on the shadow line: I think it gives portraits a lot of depth if they are not symetrical lit or too soft, Although if fotographing in color it might be a good trick to use different color temperatures (e.g. I had a set up once with one lamp at 6500° and one at 3200° color temperature, giving me some harsh red/blue contrast I could later on alter to really good lighting contrasts in the resulting bw images)
-
Nice portraits. I wish people would use more than white or black backgrounds on portraits. Some of the best portrait shots I've seen come off the Photography degree course at my Uni were done on brown, red and yellow backgrounds. Gives a neat effect that instantly sets your photos apart.
