I'm just asking for trouble asking old-tech related questions here, haha. But this is probably the only other place I can ask for help on some issue. Do take note I've already asked this at func_msgboard, but we can't solve the problem right now, so I'm turning for help here.

First of all, using Worldcraft 1.6a works fine for Quake mapping, but it's a very clunky editor with a horrible camera to use.

http://www.quakeone.com/qadapter/ - I followed this guide to get WC3.3 to work for Quake mapping, but I noticed a small issue. When I want to select a brush, or a seperate face to texture in the 3D View, it does nothing at all. Nothing will select as if the mouse is not responding to this window. Everything in the 2D Views however do work. Worldcraft 1.6a (and Hammer 3.5) also work fine in this area, just not 3.3.

Any solutions or ideas would be nice!

As a fellow luddite I used to model all my hl1 and hl2 brushwork in Radiant then import it into Hammer. Purhaps you can simply use another app you're more familiar with and import it?

    All you neeed is:

    hammer_v34.exe

    qonverge.zip

Send me msg if you will have problems with geting that files or problems with runing/compiling... If you need hammer for Q1 or HL1 I surely can help you

    Unfortunetly, even in Hammer 3.4 / 3.5, the 3D view doesn't work when I click on brushes. I don't know what's up...

Edit: Found a nice temp fix for this - disable my graphics card and it'll work fine. And compiling also works well too.
