Sounds like with the DLC that they want to make it into a real fps shooter...
But dev kits should be ok, maybe someone are able to fix the crappy dialogue ![]()
Haha, that was great. Beatie Boys = fail though.
So i sent my dog to collect some food or if it was ammo i don't remember. He never came back. Now i have been back to vault 101 to see if he might join up with me again. But to no avail, is my dog dead? ![]()

Yep, happened to me too. Although I got a message saying "dog meat is dead", you prolly got it too.

my dogmeat just got stomped to death by some retard behemoth that randomly spawned out in the wasteland, he didn't care about killing me and he didn't take damage, but he jammed dogmeat against a wall and he died and I said "fuck it" and killed some retarded slavers instead.
Dogmeat nooo ![]()
I got rid of dogmet near the end of Fallout 1 once. It was just too much trouble to stop super mutants from killing the poor mutt. Same with the other retard members in my party. Once you get the Power Armor and a nice plasma rifle you feel like a giant among ants.

Btw, with 65 hours of game, I just finished the main quest!
Although there are plenty of side quests yet to do, so I have a save game before the final scene, and I can finish the other quests now.
There are still 60% of the wasteland yet to be explored, with plenty of side quests, unexplored buildings, etc. Which I find a bit of a waste, since the main quest could have been much bigger than it is, based on how much content there is on this game. But I guess Bethesda didn't want their game to be too big for the "average" gamer, but they still left a lot of space yet to be explored for the "hardcore" gamers, which is from a certain point of view, a wise decision. ![]()
I played the PC version, and I didn't had a single problem or bug during my playthrough of this game! (Apart from 3 crash to desktops [yes, I did count them], which is pretty much acceptable given the O.S. we all use
)
This game is worth every single penny I've paid for it, and not only that it has the best Collectors Edition I ever bought!
It does have It's problems, like a couple of stupid NPC's and some strange voice acting here and there. And you can tell there's some blurry textures in some places too, but I guess that's the price to pay to have a multiplatform game as well.
So yeah, all in all, this is one of the best game's I've played so far, that will stay on my memory from years to come! ![]()
Here's some screenshots I've taken, Lot's of spoilers so watch out.

... so I played it last night for a few hours with no problem, but I go to start it up tonight and I'm faced with this:

Sigh. Right, fuck this shit. Fucking cunts.
Time to download it, defrag.
Yeah... I should download it because then I'll get the no bullshit version. Imagine that, eh? Not paying and getting a better version. Totally logical.

Yeah, you're gonna have to download a cracked .exe! ![]()
I had to do the same not so long ago, for Crysis Warhead.
Also, has anyone else played fallout 3 and been slightly paralysed by choice? Too ... much... stuff!
And here it is, the DLC Operation: Anchorage!

QuoteIGN: The liberation of Anchorage must have taken place before the entire country was destroyed. How different will the art style be for this download?Gardiner: Anchorage has a vastly different art style. It's taking place in the frozen north; so you have a very bright ice/snow color pallet. We've had a massive amount of art resources at our disposal, most of what the player will experience was created from scratch. We've also taken a lot of time to create a bunch of 'animation vignettes' to make the soldiers and other NPCs interact with the world in better, more convincing ways then anything we were able to do with the Fallout 3 main game.
Quote- Operation: Anchorage will be about 4-5 hours long- New weapons and perk
- Combat/stealth oriented
- Update (bug fixes) for all versions of Fallout 3 coming
- Second DLC, The Pitt, will take place in Pittsburgh
- Third DLC, Broken Steel, will increase the level cap
