In the first video the dudes in front of you glide across the ground when walking backwards.

Also, noticing some reused textures from Oblivion.

But yeah, the AI does appear to be fairly dumb and plain. :/

Anyways, I'm the first one to admit that visually this is not the most appealing game ever! All this green seem strange, but damn, It's the awesome atmosphere that gets me!

Btw, I'm glad they decided to honor my persona and place my nickname in the HUD! <3 Bethesda

OMG... they raped Fallout so badly.

That's a game for mentally retarted imo, those who cant understand any more advanced mechanics will love this game. (and like HP never played original Fallouts)

I've got a friend who loves Fallout games that's freaked about Fallout 3, really excited about it. Preordered that super fancy expensive edition with the clock.

The gameplay judging from those videos look absolutely plain. Like it has already been mentioned, what is with the pathetic enemy AI? Game also looks piss easy, especially with that "feature" that's constantly abused in the videos.

Haven't yet played any of my Fallout copies here yet but, Fallout 3 as a game on its own looks flat, plain and boring (again judging from those videos) I don't see what other people are excited about, to be fairly honest.

Bethesda isn't the same after the release of Daggerfall. Their games got plainer each time in various aspects.

    ain't that the truth.

The more gameplay vids I see the more weary I am.... I'm going to stop watching them now and just wait till I get my hands on the real thing.

Oblivion's combat mechanics sucked balls pretty much so I guess we shouldn't be too surprised as to how it turned out. I only wish they spent more time with it, there was so much potential.

It's sort of typical to focus all the attention on one negative review.

Though this was all pretty obvious from the get go. The game will come out, will be enjoyed most by console owners who didn't play the originals, the target, and will be disliked by those who expected a niche PC RPG from a primarily console focused game.

I'm probably generalizing, but I wonder how far off I am.

Daggerfall sucked compared to Morrowind, primarily due to engine limitations. Daggerfall was just torture to move around in outdoors. Besides that, it felt like a traditional, bog standard First person D&D RPG. Morrowind was something special, unique.

It's less console players and more console publishers. Console players have shown time and time again they're willing to buy and play complex games like MGS3 and JRPGs and shit (MGS3 made me giddy with delight in how in depth and complex and thought out its functions were ), and consoles can certainly HANDLE complex games, especially now... and yet publishers and developers on the consoles keep pushing to dumb down shit to appeal to that mystical "casual" crowd. See: What happened to Bioshock pre-release because they were afraid RPG elements would somehow cause the game to flop .

OMG You linked to No Mutants Allowed

Can anyone find a review from the pirates with the 360 version? I'd be interested in hearing what non-french people have to say.

It's so nice to read an honest (p)review from time to time. And not only these "been stuffed with money up their ass to write nice things" articles. I find it hard to believe that probably more than 90% of the people who have written the hands on articles actually love the game.

Download for PC, buy for 360.

But I am getting a bit excited about Interplays new project, V13 :-|

At least the premises for the launch party look good:

I have no idea what all these celebrities will do exactly as "hosts and co-hosts", but they got the motherfucking Foo Fighters for the music, so I'm a little jealous that I'm not invited
