    I kinda missed this myself. Not sure if it's been posted yet and god knows there's been enough discussions about it on here before, but this update seems to actually have a working lighting preview for Hammer. Seems to generate a really quick, low res lightmap in the preview window. It seems to do the job okay, but nothing too fancy. Thought I'd post it to let anyone know in case they missed it.

    Oh, and the raytrace preview still seems to crash like in the version before. Not sure if that's just broken or there's a work around for that.

    Raytrace works fine for me. But god damn the rendering takes for ever! And it's even stencil shadows!

    Haven't had time to test it myself, but it looks from the screenshot that it calculates point lights now as well? Can it be true?

    Yeah it takes forever and looks like it crashes, Hammer is locked up until the preview is done and I cant seem to cancel it. \o/

    I have a fix. Use UnrealEd.

    But if you use UnrealUd it looks like plastic and if you use cryengine only 3 people will play it

    Even DEdit (AvP2) was able to load processed lightmaps into the editor.
