hey guys,before im off to work, id like to know something. all you guys living in america, how are things with the dollarinflation? is it really noticable? here in europe (the netherlands to be precise) there's lots of stuff going on in the news about the fall of the dollar. so.. how are things in america and what are your visions regarding this topic?

I live in Belgium, so its a lot in the news here too and actually I love it, I can buy steam games really cheap and travelling to America would become much easier and cheaper!
Yup, living in Belgium as well and I'm loving it. Loads of colleagues at work, and myself, have gotten cheap iPhones out of the U.S.
Its like doing beer runs but with cheap technological gadgets. 
doing contract work for us companies can be a pain. its still more than most european companies are willing to pay though

Yeah, It's all over the news over here at portugal too.. But meh, we are so used listening about economical crisis, we don't even pay much attention anymore! I'm sick of this fucking country... If you think US is going bad, you don't want to know how things are going over here.
I recently ordered 10 t-shirts and a hoodie from threadless. For the same price i would only get like 4 shirts of that quality in stockholm.
lol you guys are really loving this. i'm not a big spender or anything nor have i been an adult for a long time if that makes sense but i havent really noticed a difference. prices of produce and stuff have been skyrocketing though.
Gas is really the only thing that is noticeable right now, but food prices and other stuff are starting to go up a little.
IMO I think the dollar was way overvalued anyway. This may be actually helpful to us since more people are able to buy good from the US and maybe it can jumpstart some more manufacturing jobs.
edit: When I first got my drivers license gas was under $1 per gallon. 
Gasoline is at 1,45€ here in Germany. That's nearly 2$ O_o

Over here the petrol prices are between 101p and 108p a litre. The equivilant of over $8 a gallon
At least buying stuff from America is ok...oh wait theres nothing decent left on Steam that I want. 
Gas in Denmark is about $2 per litre. But at least our gas has a higher octane. We get about 95 and even 98, I think, for that price, whereas in the US (as far as I'm told by discussing it with people) they pay the same price, but for a lower octane such as 88.
Also, the dollar prices are awesome. Buying off steam has never been cheaper ;D
Aside from that, it also actually pays off to import stuff from the US. Recently, I bought some books for uni, and even after paying for shipping and some VAT, it still ended up being about 50% of the price of what I could have gotten it for at home. Things like guitar gear made in the US has also dropped significantly in price in Denmark, so that's nice 
We rate our gass differently. I'm not sure exactly how it is calculated but our 87 octane here is equivelent to your 92 RON.
Gas stations usually carry 87, 89, and 93. They are usually sold in 10c increments. Some places carry 100.
My car only takes 93+, it sucks... but in the end its probably only about $3 more for a full tank.
In here,
95 octane = €1.399 (Per liter)
98 octane = €1.539 (Per liter)
And it keeps increasing, almost every month, for almost 2 years now!
ah ah.. someone get me outta this fucking country! How come a fucking liter of gasoline is the tripple of a liter of milk?
And btw, what about each countries minimal/average income?
I'm very curious about this topic, in here, Portugal, the minim legal sallary, is (Get ready...) ~390€!!!
And there are thousands, and thousands of people getting this sallary per month, most of them with children to feed!
The average Portuguese income, is around 500€~600€ per month, for the so called (Medium class) I receive a little more than that and I still gotta be careful on where I spend my money, or I'll easy get bank rupt!
I honestly, do not understand how people can receive so little per month, and they still gotta pay for their gas, light, phone bill, water, house rent, etc etc etc!

anyway, appart from the gasprices and other smaller conveniences and inconveniences there seems nothing really worrying.. strange tho, because less then 2 years back there was a crisis (smaller then the current one) and here in europe there was this silent panic about the prospects of our economy. i think its strange because the prospects of the economy are even badder now. i mean look at the loans george w bush has forced america to attract because of the war in iraq. im trying not to judging anything but the figures, but to be honest; they scare the hell out of me. im curious as to how america will overcome this financial blow to the head. i hope the next elected president will do a better job..

Yeh, I agree.. And another thing, we Europeans could invest ALOT more than we do, is "renewable energy", i belive that is the correct term, you know like eolic and solar energy! That way we wouldn't need the uber expensive oil anymore!

The price of gas is probably the biggest pain (I know we're still a lot less than Europe, but we're jackasses who love our big cars). If anything, if our game sells well in Europe, we're going to get a great exchange rate from Euros to American dollars. So go buy BiA:HH if you're in Europe. Papa needs a new Vespa.

We need satellite solar stations. 
Those solar plantations may supply many people but you can supply many more with atomic energy, while taking less space.
It's maybe not that ecologically friendly but if you think realistic, that's the solution.
yea the most noticeable thing is the price of gas sucking ass big time. Also, I have noticed that food prices have gone up a little as well. Not like, holy crap I can't afford to eat - but more like, wait a second - I always used to be able to pay for this with a 5 dollar bill and now I can't.
Also, going on vacation to anywhere in europe SUCKS
