the daily "how was your day?" extravaganza 2008

    FrieChamp - im odenwald gibts noch Wildschweine, Füchse und Wildkatzen. Nah in retroperspective I think it could have been much worse (we had some scout-hikes where we had to sleep within a boar-pit and stuff)

    A cab would have been to expensive (costs 15 to 20 € and I had no money with me...) and well a bit of outdoor challange doesn't hurt usually

    so last night i worked, said bye to everyone, got some cookies, and hugs. went to a friends house to say bye, packed, and left my house at 11:30. i arrived at school at 2:30. actually, the hotel just off campus. stayed the night and went to orientation in the morning. was pretty easy and painless and the dad came with. eventually we broke off into small groups based on majors and we were given instructions on choosing classes, 87 packets and other stuff and we started making our schedules. after flipping a few pages i realized that there were only like 7 classes i could take, some of them conflicted, some were at 8 at night, some were completely random such as a class on "the atmosphere." it took me like 2 hours to make a schedule with the retarded classes available. i then registered for them and one was closed and the other i need permission to get into. the adviser told me to choose a random class and ask for permission on monday. i already have some stupid fucking classes but the random one i choose i will NOT take. i better be let into this fucking class. im hoping so bad that once school starts there are some drops so i can pick up some decent classes.

    they only let transfer students register today, friday, and school starts monday. freshmen could register over the summer and returning students could register over 6 months ago. i feel absolutely shafted.

    after a little mixup in the temporary housing i ended up getting a bed, i was scared that it would suck but its basically a room 3x wider than a standard dorm with 3 bunk beds and 1 normal bed, so just a giant dorm room, i dont really have a problem with it and it should only last a week. blah, i moved out of the house today

    A big step in your life I take it. How far is the uni away from your home? If American teenie movies tought me one thing it is that you should try to get into a fraternity as soon as possible! Once you got through the (terrifying) recruitment process you will have crazy sex parties each weekend!

    It took three hours to go from home to school, we left at like 11:30 pm though so there was 0 traffic the entire way. i dont really know anything about greek life but i dont think im too interested in it.

    heh, its actually quite a giant drinking/party school so i wouldnt be surprised. most college movies are about frats and im not in one so i couldnt tell you. hell the ones that arent are in houses. i did go to someones house last night and watched them play beer pong. that game is so retarded. this is the giant room im in temporarily, it's pretty sweet. i leave the door open and everyone that walks past is impressed. me and the roomie have gotten a couple of 'that's what she said"s off when a girl says "that's really big"

    i cant remember the movie but from that pic they arent really laid out like that. they're probably 15 feet by 10 at one end is the door in the middle with a built in closet on either side of the door. on the long sides of the room are beds. two people per room with it symmetrically cut in two. you get a desk and a chair too.

    im personally expecting to get a room by tuesday. i originally regretted being in this area thats off campus because ill have to commute, however ive found that this area is badass because it has all the bars and food in a walkable distance. if youre on campus there is really no option unless you want to take a bus. if i get offered a room on campus i might have to turn it down.

    And again, I was drunk yesterday There was a fair near Zürich and we went there initially to go on some roller coasters and shit but in the end we just drank

    Have started up learning UE3 (after learning zBrush and refreshing my 3DsMax knowledge)... I kind of feel like a swam now. Prop. learned more stuff in the past two weeks than the whole last two years during A-Levels-pressure...

    Yo my day was good.

    I went to school and went back home. Then I did some work and then I ate delicious food.

    And yeah: I listen to music and it was good.

    now little more seriously:

    I got my salary for my job and I am very satisfied with that - them money I am going to spend on a computer that I dream of - 20 grand

    I gather money and next year I build my computer and get away of the very best parts that will be selling on the market. No, I am serious - I can tell some details even now:

    3 x graphics card..

    latest nvidia motherboard!

    THERMALTAKE ARMOR+ probably

    nd.. INtels new processor called BLOOMFIELD or core i 7 or something like that..

    It is the best time to buy now in the next year - when everything new will emerge on the markets. I am really burning for that and that's my big aim right now, i'm already on the way to my big aim.

    and my computer sucks so I really decided this summer I give it a go and assemble computer that I build of the very best parts.. YEAh
