the daily "how was your day?" extravaganza 2008

just got back from lowlands, one of the bigger dutch festivals (if not the biggest). went there yesterday with my gf and a good friend. had lots of fun! found a dozen ways to get free drinks, after we got in for free (we got to have the used wristbands wich we glued with superglue - its an old but effective trick) now im going to sleep for 3 hours and face my first day of internship in about 4 or so. nighty night!

The sickest modelers come from Eisenhüttenstadt (I mean, "iron hut city", that's style right there) And the best mappers from Saxonia and Bavaria, of course. Hey, I don't want to insult anyone.

First day of school - first day with my new class. Our teachers are meh, but the new class seems rather cool Might be a cool thing after all to have profiles and stuff like that. People seem to be on a similar wave length. Yet to be seen is if the variations are strong

Day was rather calm. Gonna be alone at home for 2 weeks.

Spent most of the time watching ao maps rendering and trying out different settings and renderers.

My day's been pretty cool. Got no level design work until September the 30th (lol) as my boss is busy whipping the rest of the team into shape to finish the demo to present to Kanomi. Got a new girlfriend as well, so been a good day!

Oh and I just had to rip off frie's avatar. It's just too good not to.

so i'm going to leave thursday night to go to school, stay in a hotel, and go to orientation and stuff. I faxed in my housing request last monday to get a dorm room. when i called on friday i was told i was on a waiting list. i called back to day to ask if i have a number in line and some other stuff. i found that while im on the waiting list, i'm close enough to being let into a room that i can go into temporary housing. that means i can stay in a large room with 10-15 other people in a dorm complex 3 miles from campus. one of the main reasons i wanted to go away was to not commute to school, but i'm going to have to take a bus to class which blows. hopefully the "temporary" housing is short lived. i sent my app in on the 11th and they are letting in students who applied on the 26th as of this morning. i guess if people don't show/drop out/whatever i get their spot.

also i'm going to pick classes on friday, two days before school starts, i hope im not stuck with shitty classes, i need to get a job to work around my schedule. on top of all this, may can wont pass inspection for a random abs problem and my attempts to fix it have failed, i need to mail a part back to a manufacturer to check it and then they send it back or something. but i wont be at home. so heres to hoping that passing through 3 toll booths wont net me a ticket. i guess i might have to bring it to an audi dealer at school.

so how was my day?

It was excellent I did not do much. I mapped alot for zombie panic you know my new map aha.

So hard to finish this map, everytimes I believe I am ready i'm far from finish the map..
