Quote from FrieChamp
Been there, done that, except I started a little more north (Bielefeld..). I still find myself telling stories about how I missed the connection train in Würzburg and had to use a slow-ass regional train through the woods. The train kept stopping at "stations" that looked like bus stops (the conductor had to leave the train, to open up a little gate so the passengers could walk across the rails and board the train, i mean wtf?) and I couldn't understand anyone's German.
: "Woar's de Schoaffna scho doa?"
:"Hm? Sprechen Sie mit mir?"
: "Woar's de Schoaffna scho doa??!??!?!?!?!"
"Waaas??"Good that (almost) everyone at Crytek spoke English

Reminds me of my first train ride to the army (wasn't far away from Coburg). I thought i travel 40 years back and to the middle of nowhere. And the people there not only talk a abit funny they are actualy 40 years or so back (in the small towns and villages that is).

Woke up early yesterday, had to go into Uni to get my gf's keys to get into her house to lug a Sofa and stunt crashmat she'd been keeping there into a mates Mercedes Sprinter to get it to Uni for a photoshoot. Spent 7 hours under the studio lights doing all manner of stuff for her photoshoot and ended up posing as a "fake" boyfriend to this random girl. The random girl infact turned out to live about 10 minutes away from me back home, weird.

Did you slap her titties around?

My Leg/Hip hurts and my ellbow bleeds a little since a Bus nearly roadkilled me today when I ran beside the (then still standing) Bus and fell below it and pulled my leg just out there the moment the driver started the engine and drove away.

-
How do you fall below a bus?
Still, glad to see you didn't get squished like a badger

-
The Busstop is a little heigher than the street so that there's no height-difference between it and the bus-doors which - in theory - enables wheelchairers to get into the bus without help. The truth seems to be that the gap between the bus-stop and the bus-door is so huge that you can't get over it with the wheelchair your self and it's huge enough to let feets slip through. If you then run like me parallel to this gap and the bus and you slip into the gap you can get easily under the bus with your legs.
I catapulted my self then half a meter forward with my arms and the free leg to escape the wheels
When somebody asked me if I'm alright I could only mutter "Well, I missed the bus, didn't I?"

Good thing really, that is pretty scary thought having your leg crushed by a bus. They're rather heavy I heard.

So this morning on my way to work I saw this hobo woman sitting in her group of hobo friends that I always see every morning when walking to the office. They are meth addicts.. Which means their faces are all red and swollen up puffy. Today "she" tied her shirt to a knot around her belly which exposed a giant gaping hole the size of a big fist on her lower back. I don't have a weak stomach but I swear I almost barfed.
FUCK. Soooo grosss!!!
That's how my day has been so far. yes yes
