    Post of the week!

    Woke up with massive stabbing chest pain, went away after a few codeine tablets. Doctors tommorow for me I think! Went in for lecture/work session at Uni and ended up leaving at half six. Had some dinner and went to give GF a lift home from her lesson when it finished. Attempted to do some more animation and thought it was about 9pm, is actually 11:10pm and have done no animation.

    Sedatives wore off, huh kt?

    Had a pretty good day today myself. Off uni early, new strings on my western guitar ;O

    It's soooo awesoem to play now.

    Now I think it's time for something I haven't done in a while.. Gaming!

    had a nice dinner with a mate from university. we had talked about a lot of private things. for example a really close friend to my family is almost dead (cancer). so these days aren't the best.

    Yesterday was pretty cool, after having lessons and practicing with our MG3 (Norwegian made MG42, shoots "slower" (18-22 rounds per sec.)), we went to the shooting range and let a few strips fly. What an easy weapon to use, easy to shoot, pussy recoil (the buffer makes you have sex with shoulder). Lowest score I got all day was one 7 and three 8s, on about 200 rounds at 30m. Hope they'll make me the MG gunner, which means I'll man the MG on the front vehicle when we drive in convoys etc.

    Other than that, this week I had a 10km run during the morning with some fellow soldiers and officers, only stop we had was to warm our arms, so we did a couple of push-ups and started to run again. Slow pace, nice workout Next 2 weeks will be all "classroom" lessons, which will suck. I'll have a course about fuel. INTERSRTINGG. I don't care about fuel.

    Other than that, the army is pretty comfortable, only thing that was a major suck this far was to get moved from the division where I started my service.

    ps. today wasn't cool at all, we spent about 4 hours doing maintenance work on the MGs, burnt metal scraps every fucking where!

    I think I'm good to go with my withdrawal from service. Don't need no army to set me behind a machine-gun. As much fun it might be to shoot some rounds - I could not shoot some one and I don't want to be shot by anyone else for being in a war some old political grubs made up.

    Mandatory service has always seemed pretty weird to me in that respect. It's not like the old days where countries just saw other countries as faceless enemies; thanks to the internet and television, etc, we know there're real people with families on the other end of those bullets. I'd imagine there's a lot of cases of mandatory servicemen who simply couldn't do it and would end up either getting themselves or their squad killed. No amount of mandatory hardening (which is also wrong IMO) can make you a killer if you have no such inclination, unlike those who sign up of their own accord.

    this morning i recieved the call that our close family friend has died. got to say more on how my day is? i met her more often then i did see my real aunt and uncle.

    For once reporting about my day is pretty positive really, I've been moved off of the sales floor and put into customer services because I can't consistently sell as much as I'm 'meant' to, but because I'm so hard working (my boss's words), I deserve a job in another position. My two whole months of telesales have paid off now and I'm on very good terms with the manager of the company and thus my job is very stable and for once I actually feel quite happy.. now I just need the hot girl
