anywho, last night i went to bed at 5 am, woke up at 10 and drove up here to vermont. a nice 6 hour drive. so im here at killington in a hotel and will be skiing for the next 5 days at an awesome huge mountain. i feel bad that my dad is sick, he doesnt want to skii tomorrow so ill be going by myself (anyone wanna free lift ticket?)
besides skiing theres really nothing to do here. the hotel has wifi but only in the lobby so im chillaxing here (fireside in a giant comfy sofa ) while the dad tries to get some sleep in the room. someone keep me occupied

this is me packing up to move AGAIN, hooray! I know, I look super excited!
I think this is the third or fourth year in a row that I have been moving, it's really starting to get old. Maybe one day I will be prosperous and I can settle down and grow some roots. I am moving in with my girlfriend to a tiny apartment, it won't be as nice of a place to work on Zero Gear in but it will be a little bit cheaper and I will have the company of zaf's tru loev, omgzz can't wait
Also I have been kinda depressed becuase said girlfriend has been in europe for the last week and will still be there for another week and a half, and all my other friends and family have been out of town as well - so in some kind of weird alignment of the planets I have had nobody to hang out with recently. I am excited about finally getting the keys to my new place tomorrow so I can get the whole dreaded process halfway over with.
Also, my lady called me from france today, ++ happy points, and also me and Brian tried an internet test of Zero Gear from San Diego to San Fran (he is in San Fran) and it seemed to work better than we had anticipated. Still a lot of optimization to do but it bodes well for the practicality of our network architecture.
