str132 Posted August 1 Author Report Posted August 1 After a playtest with friends, I decided to overhaul the layout. Because the old layout is not good enough for a comp game. Too cluttered and feels random. Both bomb sites are narrow and have too many uncomfortable angles. The mid area is not good; there is no room for players to be creative. So, here's the new layout. I believe this layout still has room for improvement, I will keep grinding. Quote
str132 Posted August 3 Author Report Posted August 3 Maybe, This is the last change to the layout before the deadline. Quote
str132 Posted August 4 Author Report Posted August 4 (edited) I started environment work on the B site. (My old lock out is so cluttered and difficult to work with...) WIP pic and refelence here. Spoiler Edited August 4 by str132 Quote

Kardio Posted August 22 Report Posted August 22 Hi str132! Too bad you could not advance, I really liked your map! Maybe the mix of styles was confusing to the judges? There is a natural style (sandy stairs and rocks at T spawn), there is an urban component - and there is the urban part with the cemetery and grass. I liked the intricate layout with many small corners. And the altitude change. I sincerely hope you will finish this map and am looking forward to the result! Quote

I couldn't share a decent image where in my head and lack of documents, references. Next time, I will make an effort to share more infomation about what I'm thinking and the vision. Quote
