Why do people care if their map gets accepted temporarily? The dream should be to have something that gets players excited and is different in a big way.
In active duty there are only 2 layouts that resemble every map we see now. An interesting statistic I found was that pros choose inferno, train, and ovp before Dust 2 on average.

So players feel immediately "at home" in the map and are willing to learn the new things. If you add do too many new things at once players might be frustrated.
I think you did a good job here.
You bring up a valid point, and while I am not criticizing this map's design, it is too often the case that maps choose to change things up within the 4 leaf clover. I know that there are alternate ways of pathing that work, I have spent a long time playing around with configurations on paper and in grayboxes. An example is inner bombsites with less space apart and with outer rotations.

Yeah guys I think this is it. Since Yanzl made a map with a remotely similar theme, players will be confused and hate the map.

If people spent less time on this forum and more time on trial and error there would be no crunch lol

Aside from looking great this map has an entirely new vibe that I haven't seen yet. (like industrial, jungle, etc.)

I was hoping for something like District. God damn that map had a vibe.

I'd recognize that carpet anywhere...

Just make the map and its details as a single model in sketchup and then manually copy and paste each vertex coordinate into a vmf.
