The Federal Bureau of Investigation received an anonymous tip of terrorist activity in and around the 3100 block of 31st ave. The Counter-Terrorism Division and Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate were mobilized to intervene. With the help of state and local law enforcement, the FBI is determined to shut down the terrorists before they can detonate either of their nuclear bombs.
A Middle-Eastern terrorist cell has been operating in abandoned industrial property and adjacent scrapyard on the outskirts of a US City. With nukes smuggled from the former Soviet Union, they intended to arm, transport and detonate them in the center of the city. The FBI raid has changed the time table on those plans. Detonating either bomb on the outskirts of the city is the contingency.

I'm glad there's concern over this being allowed in or not. I posted with the expectation it would be allowed, as ICS said, perfect time to polish and ship again.
And this is an again. Worth noting, the old version sets the spawns backwards, so it was mostly CTs on defuse duty from the beginning of the round. Made for very fast paced gameplay. But not so much with conventional play as CS players expect.
To speak briefly on funny angles and playtesting, I've found that for each funny/cheap angle, there's a fair amount of risk to using it. Or, it's not very risky, but not very useful either. Based on feedback elsewhere, I've removed the redundant car piles that plagued salvage, and that cleared many cheap spots, too many corners and the frustrating games of ring-around-the-rosey while trying to defuse the bomb at A.
Technical features which might interest you fellow mappers here, the fence at bombsite A doesn't block bullets, but blocks grenades and players and I've made some 4 way blend textures for the level, so I can do things like this:

Hello, Welcome to Scrapyard.
Scrapyard is an iteration of Salvage, you can find Salvage here.
Scrapyard is a standard 2 bombsite defuse map.
What makes it unique in gameplay is an underground tunnel/sewer that connects both bombsites. Assume the outside is hostile as terrorists may take the rooftop of the brown building you can see in the screenshot.
For now, speculate from the screenshot and play the old version to get a better idea.
Thank you for reading and playing.
