I'll put it on the workshop as soon as I've had it checked by some other machines for custom content.

An open question. What is the difference between the blue and the red lines? They render differently?

Z for Zachariah, by far one of the greatest movies I have watched in a long time. A slow paced drama with tension in every scene, it's like a post apocalyptic Adam & Eve and the snake. Not many movies can get a grip on human nature and behavior like this movie did. Not a movie for everyone tho, since most people like to watch brainless action à la The Raid 2. So a boring warning, but that's the kind of movies I love. :)

Not sure about the chewing gum eating... was brought up that any candy or chewing thingy was bad so I'm not used and rarely eat one. I also don't floss because it's too long process and never had problems, some rare tiny cavity that always got discovered early because of seeing dentist regularly.

My problem with wisdom teeth is that they've grown all bendy like 45° when out of the gum... I think that's because they put braces when I was in uni (i'm pushing teeth out with my tongue when I swallow) and wisdom teeth didn't have much space to come out. Was supposed to get them out as got swelling there a couple times, but dentist said "we'd do it if you get another swelling" which never came. When I asked him to remove em anyway (I can feel mouth doesn't close properly, just slightly misaligned) he said they are too bend and said "we are not gonna be friends after I finish there" (read: is gonna be very very painful)

The wisdom tooth I have problem with is "growing" into the tooth next to it, So I can't reach it by flossing, there is hardly any space between them. I guess I will have problems with it soon.

Chewing gum increases saliva amounts by a lot, which is very good for you teeth and gums. Just try to do a chewing motion without actually having anything in your mouth, you will notice that the saliva amount increases quite drastically. And I of course use sugar-free gum.

Rinsing your mouth with water after a meal and chewing gum or "fake chewing" is good for you.

knowing a few good smokes is always helpful. but i imagine it would generally be slaughtered in a map test via feedback if this was a new map being tested.

Even then it just sucks, all the corners in the site, pit, and standing on the balcony. Standing up on the balcony and angle it so you see the small stairs/steps on the site and you have the most powerful position on the map. There is no way to counter it really since you can't clear the area without being open to 4-5 other angles.

I hate maps like that, where you can't clear one angle at a time. You are definitely right, the map in its current stage would have been absolutely killed in a playtest.

The B site feels OK, rather easy to take and hold, a smoke on the spools and a CT smoke and you can clear 1 angle at a time, but the visibility towards dark is quite bad, and some angles should be removed.

I still love inferno tho, great map to play, but that is because of the basic layout. The map could be so much more tho.

I would bet that inferno is the next map to be removed. It's the last of the ports from CSS, and the one most needing a facelift. It still has the *new tech* like ridiculously lumpy displacement floors and poorly placed foliage. Dust doesn't have nearly as many issues.

I agree, dust2 is good the way it is. Constant fps, great visibility and they haven't done anything wrong with the map unlike inferno.

Inferno is just a mess, even thinking about going A as a T and I feel sick.

Just noticed a big black area on my wisdom tooth, gg. Have really done everything to take care of my teeth lately, brushing, flossing every day (how have I not done this amazing thing regularly before?), mouthwash 2-3 days a week, chewing gum to get the saliva going etc. Guess I never put any notice to the wisdom tooth, my dentis is gonna kick my ass.

Oh And I have a test on friday and I am fucked, spent the day watching dreamhack instead of studying, yaay.):

Removing dust 2 is maybe to make room for season? Seeing that in majors dust 2 is often vetoed and that we see a lot more of more recent maps, they may try to add some variety in their map pool. If it was up to me I'd make the pool larger by adding 2 maps, don't know which ones but still

it's however more likely that inferno gets pushed out of the pool until it gets modified, just like Nuke was, even if overall they may need less work on it, unless they decide to keep the layout features while redoing the looks, both on dust and inferno, those are valid hypothesis but how likely they are, you tell me!

I don't like the layout of season, the roation times makes the map super boring. I like the bomb sites, but it just doesn't work with 35s bombtimers. And removing dust2 would be madness. Teams veto it because it is a dangerous map to play, any team can upset on it since it is so aim heavy.

I'm gonna be totally honest, I think your texturing is bad, it looks like a source game or worse. If I were you I would study alot of pictures from reality and try to use a better set of textures. The stone ground texture is horrible if you ask me.

Because there are carts throughout the level. If there are stairs there, then how are the carts going down to the freezer? Maybe I could find a different solution to that instead, somehow!

In a realistic level you would have elevators for this kind of stuff. Why would people drag/push carts with meat that can weigh 30-40kgs?

In the slaughterhouse I work in during the summers there are indeed several levels, and everything is moved using elevators, there are no ramps. For short cuts etc there are stairs everywhere, but you would never move meat there. Stairs are used to move workers around quickly.

    Hey guys,

Most people [ especially parents ] consider playing games a waste of time. The next time when your parents tell you stop playing games and go to study, show them this video: https://youtu.be/OMjUb6k6OXI I hope it will change their minds

Well, if someone is doing bad at school, , then I think it is time to stop playing and study first. Learning social skills, to work in a team and so one is nice, but in the end a college degree is the first step in getting a good job.

I wasted my high school time in gaming and got shit grades. I still got into a nice school but it doesn't work out that way for most people. If you are doing good in school and you parents tell you to go study instead, then fine, I can understand that you would want to play instead. But unless you have really good grades, then studying should be the number one priority. I don't think that most people in high school understand that they are shaping the rest of their lives right there and then.

I guess most people just thinks that life goes on no matter what they do. So why devout yourself to anything? Sadly it doesn't work like that, most people live a life were they wasted every opportunity and they justify it by pure bullshit. Like building teamwork.

I get upset because I have been a lazy student for many many years. I never had parents that told me to go study, they just let me game all day.

I'm not sure what to say really. I can't think of one single map, as I can love different game modes, plus I'd want to put a singleplayer level for compensation...

When playing Backlot I always had a feeling that it was an improved version of this map. Am I the only one?

Completely different layouts but I guess they share some things. Both maps have many rooftops or high grounds where you can see alot of the map from, and both are set in cities in the desert. Can't believe they haven't remade toujane. It was the dust2 of CoD.

When it comes to singelplayer I don't even know what to say, when I think about I haven't played very many singelplayer games.

Can't find a thread about this topic, but what is your favorite map ever?

For me it is probably backlot or crash @CoD4, crash is the pillar of human map creation if you ask me.

Am I late to the party? Was there a winning map or something? This map made it to the top 4, the contest ended after that?

So I shouldn't use playerclip all over the place to stop boost spots etc? Playerclip is useless for CSGO then?
