Looks a bit complex, will you release a .Bsp for us to look it up in-game? :)

(I noticed you textured the top of buildings etc, you should probably start no-drawing non visible faces already to save you optimization passes afterwards. My rule of thumb personnally is to always no draw faces then texture them, that way you only texture what you can see and nothing more, and if you missed one, you'll rapidly see it when inspecting the map)

I tried to see how I could implement your idea, but I couldn't find a successful way. However, it inspired me for the upper path which I now need to balance appropriately.

I made this change because the site was too bare and untakeable.

I chose to try and open the other sit up a bit while scaling its size up a bit. I avoided weird sightlines andthere are a few strategies that could be played with that so we'll see.

As always, do comment on what you think :)

the download link is the same as previously!

Like a parallel path from way back which would arrive at the right of the site?

I tried to attempt part of it with the main to short one way self boost.

I'll get back to you with that idea checking what can work with timings, because it works on Cache because timings prevent CT from pushing and flanking, but in my case if the additional path is too close, T's will arrive much later

Personnally I'd do the opposite: trying to make staying comfortably at sites less rewarding or more risky. The idea being that if you want to play it safe then you have to take a risk on not being able to retake the other site. But that's maybe because I have a more aggressive playstyle.

Thanks! Studies were time consuming, it's nice to have a break ! (That and having a computer that crushes cs go instead of struggling to get 60 fps helps :) )

What do you think of that try? I tried to make something less funky than my last cs_ map, and I would've finished my de_ map if it was allowed

If they gamble, you need to have a good risk/reward ratio. What do you balance to make it risky for that reward? Or alternatively how do you reduce the reward for little risk?

    Hi there Mapcore,

I'm back at it again after a few tries. Hopefully learning from my mistakes, I'm trying to make a very non squared map, and a small one at that.

    Here it is:

Timings are balanced so that B is defended from site and A can be defended from the high of A T Main.

Mid is supposed to be a tight touching point for both teams, a point to gather information and try risky flanks.

Here is a link for the imgur album: http://imgur.com/gallery/f4mml.

    bsp link for first iteration

Let me know what you guys think. I started this 2 days ago, so it's still very very early, so there is probably a lot to say!

Thanks in advance Mapcore community! :)

Though, i'm not sure this is "refreshing", at least definitely not for private schools, still, a bit newer for public universities. If i would risk to express an opinion, i don't think this is very sane.

Or lack thereof, since social isn't his focus that much.

Well I had the chance to talk to him once, and he was positive that higher education expenses is something overlooked that should change to regain a dominant position in the industry. For someone in an engineering school looking at the state of this type of school, I can only agree because for years, funds have been reduced and reduced, leaving researchers the obligation to leave to live.

I don't know what exactly will happen in primary and secondary education, that may be something important as well, but harder to change.

    Why wouldn't it be sane?

What's worrying is the proportion of voters who finally voted for her. During legislative elections, we better hope to have the same distribution as the 1st round, with worse results for the far right as well.

I don't fully know everything about his plan myself, but he at least has a decent grasp about economy, which will maybe change something from politicians who used to only know about politics and not so much the rest.

The harder part of his presidency will probably what he'll do about the social part of politics. His stance on education might be the most important part of the country development since he wants to use education as a mean for entrepreneurship and economic competitiveness, which is against the current trend at least in France. So that's refreshing.

The rest we'll see how much he can do with the legislative results.

(I'm curious to see what guys like John Oliver will say, since they mocked Europe, saying we'd vote like Americans ! )

They did manage to make a lot of people think that Radeon Vega will come out alongside this game. Associating your launch with a highly anticipated hardware release sends a strong message on the confidence they have in the GPUs and the confidence AMD has in their game. That is if it's true.

If it isn't it still genius, it attracts free publicity.

Only saw the projections, is it confirmed to be a run-off?

1st Macron, 2nd Le Pen. I haven't looked at the exact results, but overall 3rd and 4th are neck and neck (Fillon and Mélenchon ) 5th is Hamon and 6th is Dupont - Aignan and the rest share the last few percents.

While where I come from, it was Macron, then Mélenchon, then Fillon then Hamon, then Le Pen. It appears that in well educated cities Le Pen has not gained much and remains 5th. I'll have to study it to know where her votes came from. My guess is rural areas and blue collar suburbs, but it's just an intuition, I could be wrong :).

There is hope that supporters of the other candidates will now rally behind Macron but then again people were also saying the electorate would never let an American President called Trump - or let the Brexit happen...Please be wiser than that, France!

That should be okay, because Mélenchon and Hamon voters will go en Masse for Macron, that gives him already almost 49% of votes. And Fillon voters won't all vote for Le Pen for obvious reasons, so he should win 60-40 I think. Not a landslide like when the previous election where le Pen the father went on in second round.
