It has lasted my two months of extreme abusive use with out any hitches, until the mouse wheel started squeaking a few days ago.

Wtf are you doing to your mice?! I've got the full fat sensei, and the mouse wheel started to squeak a bit as well, it's since worn down a bit and is absolutely fine. I've had my sensei now since... 2012! Wow, longer than I realised.

Can't say I've ever had a problem with a Razer mouse. Had like 5 of them now and they've all lasted me years.

Facebook might not be the best place to reach them? Twitter or email might be better? I'm sure they'd want to sort you out.

Razer have notoriously bad customer service. Great products while they work, but I know plenty of people who look to avoid them entirely on the off chance something does go wrong.

That's the crux of zombie films for me, whether or not the populace has ever heard of a zombie.

In this day and age, it would be nice to see a zombie related production where the people (at least SOME of them) within it are aware of the concept of zombies.

It makes a lot of them really painful to watch for me when you find people incomprehensibly stupid. They're trying to talk to someone who's had their face chewed off and they are ambling towards them and they don't fucking react!

On a side note, I cannot wait for season 6 of TWD, season 5s ending was just so damn good.

The layout is very basic, it's very open and there are a lot of long sight lines as @maladus pointed out.

Timings to mid look off, or a lack of a mid entirely. Why do Ts need 3 routes to essentially the same place?

How far along is this project meant to be? Your brush work is also very simple, and everything feels quite square, would feel more comfortable if you tried a few irregular shapes.

So this is basically DM in the dark and you get stronger weapons as time goes on?

You can set start fade and end fade distances with fog allowing a sort of fuzzy middle ground for people to work with, or set both values to be the same for a fog curtain. How does manipulating the render distance affect performance vs fog? I personally find the missing rendering really jarring.

IMO, the gamemode needs something else to stand out.

@leplubodeslapin Scrap salvage is pretty common in England, they reserve cubing for the oldest of cars afaik.

As @Beck says, there's a good engine in there still along with most of the car, but insurance companies will often sell these cars on the cheap directly to mechanics who fix them up themselves and sell them on that way so the price overheads are very different.

I got that camera btw! Do you know what the motion detection is for?

For the fresh install what did you do? I think to remember that is possible to download Windows from MS website and put it on a stick?

Yeah, I used the Windows Media Creation Tool (links down at the bottom) which lets you setup a USB stick or download an ISO in any flavour of the windows operating system you are running (which is another reason why you need to upgrade first, to get on win10 to make a win10 USB).

As I don't have a CD/DVD drive I opted for USB stick (it's also a lot faster than a CD) but, it does render the unused portion of the USB stick useless due to the way Windows reads partitions.

You should take the screenshot in the 4:3 ratio of 1280 x 1024. set cl_leveloverviewmarker 1024 and take the screenshot within the red square. This red outline also makes it easier to edit.

It's important for radar alignment later on, so it's good to practice it now :)

Hi guys, you're a knowledgeable bunch so I thought I'd fire the question out there:

I'm after a good, solid set of speakers or a sound system.

I'd like there to be a fair amount of bass, bluetooth connectivity, and can work with a TV (primarily) but is also reasonably transportable if I wanted to take them outside for a BBQ par example.

I'm open to suggestions, I'm no audiophile and I literally have no idea how much I could/should be spending so if someone knows that as well, I would appreciate the info.

    Thanks!

Anyone knows anything about the upgrade policy?

    What about it?

You need to get the little pop up to reserve your upgrade, and that's just about waiting.

When you've reserved the upgrade and it becomes available to download, let windows do the update to 10. After that you can do a fresh installation to get rid of the preinstalled gumpf laptops come with and windows will auto-validate itself (just don't do what I did and install a different edition to the one the laptop came with!)

I know some of the black boxes can track your speed, acceleration and car usage and if you drive to quickly etc the insurance can raise your premium or just instantly void it if you do some crazy speeds. My friend has one and they have a website where you can go and see how well you drive etc.

Don't need a black box for that! http://www.businessinsider.com/ford-exec-gps-2014-1?IR=T

Just been paid so I might get the camera... obviously as a stopgap until i get 20 GoPros and rig my car up for gymkhana

@Beck Wow, sounds like the car was really worked over... What state was the other car in?

Is that a purpose built dash cam you use or a phone app? I'm interested in buying one for myself as a 6" phone takes up most of my windscreen.

wtf you change your car for such a minor impact ?! Wtf i mean, it's nothing they could just change some bodywork parts and re-adjust some stuff and your car is ready to go

My car is probably older than me, with 360 000 km on the clock, so seing such a good-looking car being waste seems completely retarded to me oO

Hopefully you weren't hurt of course.

a side shunt like that probably misaligned the chassis of the car which is what the car is built around. It's very expensive to repair and if the quoted repairs are more than the car is worth, it's a write off.

Aesthetically it's not that bad, but it's underneath.

These days on modern cars, the airbags going off is enough to write some of them off

At the moment we are still trying to work out a playtest, whether to buy a server or to book one. xD

Mapcore offer playtests, the sooner you get it tested the better.

The more heavily detailed it is, the longer each change takes to make.

don't forget cl_leveloverviewmarker 1024 to get that helpful red box to aid in radar creation.

As I said a little bit of cover on the bombsites to hide from nasty awpers should fix this.

You've still got large, open paths of death leading to each bombsite from a central point. A bit of AWP cover is one thing, but what about wide open to any and all nades?

I would also guess that if any team gets hold of that area they can shut the entire map down.

But don't take my word for it, it should get tested in this state and we'll see how it pans out.

would this map be at a far enough state to test it out?

Read the submission form on the first page of this thread, it has everything listed that you need. If you can tick all the boxes then you can get your map test.

It still needs to be checked off for things like huge timed kill triggers or something equally jarring, so leave those out yeah? ;)

Overall it looks quite nice if a little compact, but being able to plant for mid on both bombsites seems impractical and massively imbalanced.
