  • Godzilla (2014)


    I couldn't agree more. If it weren't for Godzilla being in the movie it seems the humans would be helpless, and it was a good thing he was hunting the M.U.T.O.s and not us.


    Sure, the movie didn't have the best script and lacked on-screen time for the monsters, but you can't please all the critics. While some wanted the movie to go in the direction of having an excellent script and superstar cast, others preferred the movie to be a summer blockbuster with big scary monsters destroying cities, which ultimately is the purpose the movie served. They had plenty of human involvement and that is unfortunately what the masses want. (The movie to be about them)


    I think the producers achieved what they wanted, and the movie will entertain most, but if you're going in expecting an amazing script like There Will Be Blood or Pulp Fiction, you're going to be disappointed.

    Michael Meyers is something players came up with while playing private lobbies. I remember playing Michael Meyers lobbies for hours in MW2. I find it hilarious they made an official game mode out of it. Maybe I'll actually play that game on occasion now, haha.

    This is pretty cool. Nice to see the standpoint of the person(s) explaining their insight on the map from the development phase all the way through the updates unveiled after the map was released. Maybe it'd be worth queueing the map and trying it out again, seeing as though I didn't have much fun playing it competitively at first.

  • MapCore CS:GO Playtesting 4.0

    I see that the next two Sundays are already booked and unfortunately I am only available at 21:00GMT on Sundays. Unless of course something can be scheduled for 21:00GMT this coming Wednesday?


    If not I guess I'll have to wait till the next available Sunday, seeing as though I usually work until 7:00PM which is 01:00 in the GMT time zone.

  • MapCore CS:GO Playtesting 3.0

    Hello everyone, I'm new to the community and am excited to begin participating! For anyone that cares, I've been mapping for about three years now, and have just recently transfered from mapping for the GoldSRC engine (CS 1.6) to CSGO.


    I've been working on a map for a short period of time now and am looking to get a playtest running for it.


    The map is still in a very early "alpha" stage but I've developed the layout and have a testable version of the map compiled. I've tested it with a few friends so far and would like to receive some input from other mappers and anyone else in the community as well. Would it be possible to schedule a playtest for next Sunday?
