Looks very cool, love the idea of floating down a procedurally generated river and exploring all the places you find!

You can only scare it away
The survivor mode is really just core mechanics on show, which is cool, but I always felt the main campaign really showed off A:I in the best light. -
tbh I think the gameplay is very marmite, some people love it and some people hate it. I usually recommend people start off on easy difficulty and then crank it up accordingly. If your enjoying the early levels it´s worth pushing on to the later ones, there´s dome really great ones with amazing atmospheres!

So glad people are eating up this game. So many people busted their balls for it.
Not me and MarkS though, we drank lot´s of coffee and wandered around being G! (I joke, I joke, we did drink a lot of coffee though...)

Looking rubbish Liam, start again!

Of course that's a massive and hilarious joke. Loving second shot particularly!

Decided to add a "key points" section in each project page. So not both options are available!

Thanks for all the feedback! Good spot on the spelling mistake! Also changed the blog posts to 2 and it seems to be loading faster already

I'm the same as you and do prefer bullet pointed info but someone else mentioned that they like to see some in depth explanation behind the work. Tricky one that!
Another thing someone else mentioned was changing the resume page to a PDF to make it as easy to print as possible. Which I thought was a really good point.

Hi guys!
Recently I've been spending a bit of time shining up my portfolio and would like to get some feedback.
One issue I am aware of is that some of the images can be slow to load in, would be good to know if other people see this as well. I think I need to look into better compression.
Thanks!

Difficult question! No single / straightforward answer. So here' my attempt at answering it! Which is way over simplifying the subject of estimating games costs...
Break the project down into tasks.
Work out how long each task will take.
Total up the amount of time.
Add some time for bug fixing / fire fighting.
Multiply that by 1.5.
Work out the cost for each man hour, taking into account variations between disciplines and employee experience. Total it up.
Add any additional costs (marketing, tech, distribution, travel etc.)
And after that you'll have a ball park figure! Always try and overestimate, game dev is full of hidden time sinks, you will encounter them!

Way too early to tell what will happen imo. But Facebook have left previous acquisitions pretty much alone to get on with what they do. So hopefully will be the same for the rift, doing what they do, with a bunch of extra cash!

Yeah when the Alien stalks close to the hiding lockers you have the option to lean back and hold your breath. -
Link to my portfolio on the main page seems to be broke for some reason
