You're absolutely right.

The iconic blue-orange sci-fi lighting in the first pic is awesome and recognizable as system shock but can become tiresome if it's just level after level of the same lighting.

Hopefully they will vary geometry and lighting across the space station.

But seriously, benching 225lb (~100KG) is not a failure since it puts you in the higher percentile of natural bodybuilders (assuming you're natural with body weight between 75-90kg, 165-200lb)
