As everything has been validated => I'll start working at Ubisoft Annecy next week as a level designer.

I'm struggling to find a place to live in this city so I might not be around here much in the next two or three weeks. But be sure I'll represent Mapcore well in this studio! First day with the Mapcore t-shirt for sure :D

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I had a lot of thinking yesterday and I'm moving on the big studio level design position! I'll confirm everything today with the studio and hope to tell you more about it in the next few days :)

I'm completely lost. I've spent the last few months looking for a new job. Now I have two very different options I can't decide which one to pick.

The first one is in a big studio: + as a level designer + on a known franchise - less paid than the other position (about 5k in the year) + in a wonderful small city.. - but not a lot of culture places in it + with big company advantages - seems to propose not than much of a progression in the company - doesn't increase the salary a lot through the years (feedback from guys I know there) => sounds very secured but very static in term of perspectives => it opens my profil more to console and PC game dev

The second one is in a small studio: / as a mobile game designer + with a big budget manages by an old friend of mine that I trust + to work with "celebrities" - in a huge city (that I don't especially like) / to build a project from almost from scratch => sounds risky but could have a lot of benefits => I'll definitely be a mobile game designer

I really don't know what to do. I'm supposed to answer them both tomorrow. It's a big deal. I don't know what's best, I don't know what I'd prefer in the future. I have no idea... I just know I don't want to move to another location in 10 months.

I'm in a terrific period of unemployement where I throw all my attention on comics. I bought 'tons' of them, both french and english.

    [Blocked Image: https://i.gyazo.com/d6c6fdd7101cb57b49ccce62895ac123.jpg]

I discovered many super cool stories. I didn't know the Gordon of Gotham series which is awesome ; Super boy here on the picture is not the DC superman thing, it's an old french superhero (very funny btw).

I also find the "Forever evil" from DC which tells the story of the Syndicate taking over the world. The Justice Leagues are beaten so the vilains and the last heroes (basically, Batman) fight the Syndicate. It is really cool. Within those, I read for the first time some "Rogues" pages (they are Flash ennemies). I love the drawing of Scott Helpburn.

I also found some old science fiction comics. I don't know if they existed anywhere else than France. They are from the mid 60's. It's in the same spirit than novels from this period in term of SF univers.

So good finds. I found all of these in bric-a-brac for almost nothing. People just want to get rid of old stuff that they often have from their youth or from their parents. I got some superman and spiderman books for 10 or 20 cents... I have spent around 30 euros in a month for something like 130 comic books. So it's ridiculous and i'm very happy about it! ^^

These are 3 classic scenes of the movie that I love.

Nope, I saw it yesterday and it's definitely shit. He's trying again to hide a remake of the first Alien movie but poorly... It's like Ridley himself doesn't know what makes Alien great. It's a bad horror movie, It takes the most basic horror situation and successfully do bad things with it.

Spoiler It doesn't even fit at all with the Alien history. There's no question of Alien mother to make eggs, it's the fucking cyborg who makes them.

Three trainings a week can be fine. You can start back with two or three weeks of full body training to get your body back on tracks. There, mainly practice polyarticular mass exercices (ask to people at the gym or google it(don't know if you've already done bodybuilding or not)). By doing this, you'll find exercices that fit you well, the ones you like or like. Write it down and keep them in mind, you'll build your true train with them. After theses two or three weeks, you can start a split program on three days a week. I would split the body training like this : Training 1 : Pectoral / biceps / Abs Training 2: dorsal/triceps Training 3: Legs / shoulders For each training, first of all, warm your body up! Then, the two first exercices must be polyarticular mass exercices. This is the best way to gain body mass. Two warm-un exercices and the 4 series of 8 to 12 reps. It's not really useful to count the reps. This way you'll meet miss congestion, and you'll love her.

For the big muscles groups, The second exercice must be a polyarticular mass exercice. (pectoral, dorsal, legs). For the little muscles groups (shoulders, biceps, triceps, calves, abs) , you can do a new polyarticular mass exercice or an insulation exercice. For the big muscles groups, The third exercice must be a polyarticular mass exercice. (pectoral, dorsal, legs). You can also do isulation exercices for all the muscles groupes but the big one will be more difficult to work out on isolation. 4 series of 10 to 15 reps Same for the fourth exercices. Firth series, same but you can do more reps and take less rest.

Finally, stretch your body !!! For the diet, you have to decrease : - the salt, the white bread, white pasta and rice, dairy products, prepared dishes full of salt, sodas, biscuits, sugars etc Why salt? Salt causes water retention and make syou thirsty so you drink sodas or beers. Select : whole-wheat cerals pasta, rice and bread, eat more and more fruits and vegetables, fowl meat, meat, meat and meat, eggs and finally, fish. This can be progressive 'cause it can be tough to follow. You'r good to go. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="15" height="15" />

@Tisky Come on bro Don't lift too heavy, learn how to do the exercice and progressively change your diet. Keep a good objective. I would say more things about diet today though as it is at least 60% of getting your body in shape. Low fat and low sugar is a good way to start I think. Don't do 0% right away, it would be too hard. It's not a sprint, it's a fucking marathon. However, you have to find what fits you the best 'cause advices are good, but everybody is different. Body don't always behave the same way. I did it for example by reduicing salt, fat and sugar and compensating snacking ('cause that's my huge problem) by green tea and fruits. I eat lots of vegetables. I personnally can't eat 3 meals a day. It's too much for me. May be you should follow a youtube channel. I only know the French guys but dux can probably share some with you.

Back from Barcelona. Well, I have few criticism toward the city: - Most of the cultural places' content are not translate in French nor English. Almost everything is written in Catalan language. So don't go there if you want to learn things. That's not really great for such a touristic city. - Beside tourists, people don't speak English or French. So welcome to the world of awkwardness. Even when I arrived at the airport the first day, I had struggle to find some help to get to the city XD The rule seems to be: if you find someone who speaks english, it means he is not from Barcelona. - I was sold that if was a city with an incredible architecture. Sorry, what? You mean those 5 or 6 ugly buildings ? I mean, beside the Gaudi stuff (that I think are horrible) and the Gothic district, it looks like a US city in Florida! - The food costs nothing but WTF the transport and the activities are expensive. - Tapas are their things, but after 8 days there, I still don't understand what are tapas. - The beach is dirty and full of tourists, even in April

I walked around 12 kilometers each day, It was sunny and hot so that was cool. Chicks are hot of course, I felt in love every 10 meters. They have crazy Bar/club concept: for example, there was one where shots were getting more expensive as you were buying them. The price was getting lower if you were waiting to buy the next one. I stll don't understand the principle of this one but it was pretty fun.

It was a good trip, but i wouldn't have gone alone. I'm sure it's a lot of fun with friends. I'm glad I had roommates at the auberge to get out with 'cause I'd have turned crazy. Plus, 8 days is probably a bit too much to spend in this location.

Now I'm back at job hunting ^^
