    We had company party last Friday, and going back home in a tram somehow I did lost my wallet. Was super angry, it never has happened to me before. Thanks to that, I had pretty shity weekend. Early Monday, I had a phone call and it turned out some nice lady found it in a tram, and want to give it back to me. I went to her place, she gave me the wallet, and of course I wanted to give her some cash for being so nice, but she refused.
    Super nice family! That was a close one.
    Looking at FB late Monday evening, I saw that I have unread msg, and it turned out, they was trying to reach me via FB since Saturday evening. There are still good people on this planet !

    I thought this would turn into a Hollywood love story. I'm quite disappointed knj.

    So here's how it went down. I took her out to a local airport for our anniversary (dating) and got her a ride in my cousin's 2 seat Stearman (open canopy) bi-plane. Looks like this model here:


    Unbeknownst to her, I had hired another pilot to fly a banner that read "Will you marry me?" During the flight (which was very overcast and had a low ceiling of only 300 feet or so) - the banner guy was flying along (having picked up the tow banner in front of everyone in a batman style pick-up) - and my cousin did a flyby of his plane, asking my fiance (that sounds sooooo good) to read the banner. He then joked that "oh that's funny, someone must be getting proposed to today - John wouldn't do that though." This played perfectly for her (although she had small alarms going off in her head she told me later). Then they landed the plane (her family and my family were there). She hadn't really seen anybody yet though, and got out of the plane. Once down, the tow guy flew across the runway at basically 0 feet dragging the banner along the runway (very cool - again, batman - I swear). She read it again and I got down on my knee behind her while she was distracted. She turned around, freaked out a little (as anticipated) and said yes. I'm engaged gang!

    Edit: Just found out that the guy who strapped her in while my cousin finished prep work was a NASA astronaut. That was an awesome suprised to us both.

    AHAHAHAH this is insane! Congrats!

  • True Detective - TV Show

    I really enjoyed this season 2: good characters (even if Woodrugh if boring), good story, good picture, still got the dramatic atmosphere and the interesting murder case with more tension in the situations and more action. Actors are great: I don't usaully like Colin Farell but he is great here; I adore Vince Vaughn in general and he is pretty cool in the show.

    YES it is completely different from season one that was the intention and YES it is more of a classic police thriller but it is good and I took pleasure watching it.

  • What's going on with your life?

    Getting more and more responsabilities in the studio, managing gameplay elements, playtests ant QA testers, it begins to be very weary + Utralfow + my (starting) final year prototype + very hot weather... I've only slept 5 to 6 hours these last few nights (rather than my usual 8 to 9 hours that makes a big differences). I'm getting very exhausted this week. :gonk:
