Small new map ive been working on, Here is a video and some screen shots, any feed back is much appreciated.

Fixed by deleting lod and cubemap and eater block all together then recreating the water. Something was glitched with it I guess.
My water textures are either not showing when i don't have a cube map or a lod controler. But my problem is that with them the water shows as cheap water and looks like its solid. This is very aggravating and i would like to know how it fix it.
Ill watch other things then 3k. Are there any advanced texturing tutorials?
I'm new and I've been messing with hammer for a couple of weeks now. I've been starting to make a new map that I've thought of for a while now which is a mansion. So far I have a drawn map top down view but not made it in hammer. So far in hammer ive made the front of the mansion but nothing else. I want to know how to make every thing look very detailed and good. I also need help with creating stairs that are in the front enterance. These are the big curved stairs that most mansions have. With the props availble to me I can't make this. Also it seems I don't have the textures availble to me to be able to make the inside of the mansion.
My next plee for help is how can I improve at making maps in hammer so I could make some worthwhile maps.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
