Playtesting sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 21:00 CEST. We playtest a maximum of 2 maps per playtest.
For map creators:
If you want your map tested, post in the thread and suggest a day that is suitable for you. If the above mentioned time isn't a good fit, let us know and we can probably work something out!
Prior to the test you will have to send 'RZL one .bsp file, one .nav file and an optional .kv file. All custom content (models, materials, sounds, mapradar) needs to be packed into the bsp. For this, you can use Pakrat. He'll take care of the rest!
Submissions can be considered accepted if they appear in the schedule, this can take up to 24 hours.

We had our first playtest with the new settings yesterday. I felt that 24 rounds were a bit much when we playtested the first map, so I lowered it to 20 for the second map, which was more enjoyable for me. What do you guys think about it? 20 or 24? Any other suggestions?
'RZL I'm just about ready to push a version of de_smoke for the playtest as I won't be able to get much work done over the week.
Ok, cool.

Hey 'RZL, I've been working on my map a lot recently and I'll be posting an updated version to go along with the playtest, and I'd like GOTV recording just in case something on my side screws up. Oh and happy new year!
Yeah, stuff has changed.
While you're at it, improve the lighting! I can already see that it's way too dark.
http://www.squarespace.com might be what you're looking for. It has a free 14 day trial period and makes it easy for you to set up your site. Monthly costs would be at 8$/MO.
The small company I'm working at uses it and it's pretty easy to keep the website up to date.
mp_solid_teammates 0 is currently the standard. I would like to keep it that way since playing 10vs10 with solid teammates is pretty obnoxious most of the time. Map creators can still ask for this setting to change when testing their map, of course.
I took some time to improve the playtest config a little. With these changes the playtests should be more to the point with having a set amount of rounds that are being played each half (12 rounds) and players swapping sides automatically. Further details can be found in the changelog listed below.

Quote from osKoI missed the playtest because my internet didn't work; is the recorded demo avaliable?
Yepp, it's in the drive now. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1VMhS…iew?usp=sharing
Quote from SqueeboI've made a few small updates to my map, it would be great if you could replace the old file this newer version
Also could I get the playtest recorded via GOTV as well? Thanks a bunch!
Alright. It's noted.
Quote from FMPONEHi there, I'd like to get in a playtest of a new map, DE_SKY when possible
Alright, you're up for 06.01.2015 at 21:00 CET as the second map. I'm looking forward to it!

yeah, it was a mistake. It's not supposed to be password protected.
you didnt appear to the playtest, did you? anyway, your map didnt meet the criteria for a playtest so we dismissed it. Next time if you want your map tested, please read what's written at the beginning of this thread and make sure your map meets the stated criteria.
