So in order to increase visibility, you're making a search engine for indie games...? If a player wants to search for specific content, they're going to use something with tags, if they want to search for titles, they're going to use google. This really fills neither of those needs.

I got to play all the maps yesterday because I tried to get a new crate drop.. didn't happen
but man... you think seaside is bad? You should try cs_downtown and cs_motel (holy labyrinthe uninteresting map)These 3 maps don't deserve a spot in my opinion.
I quite liked the changes made to de_Ali. Good job sir!
I agree with seaside and downtown, but motel is cool. It's less designed as a game map, and more like throwing a real location into the game. It's like Office made more sense.

On the website, mouseover the buy thing. The end date changes. Valve time goes deeper.

I totally disagree, coming from CS:GO and having played many recent PC CoDs, many people are willing to just plop into a game through matchmaking even on PC (in fact, CS:GO is near dead when looking at the server browser). As for the voice chat, once again having played CS:GO, I'm not so sure I want to hear my teammates.
The lack of text chat is a bit annoying though.Dead? You mean 700 hundred servers with players on them right now? At the lowest point of steams concurrent users.
oh my god was I wrong about the whole dead thing. Last I had checked there were like 5 actually populated servers, now there are tons more (not even including pug servers). Huh.

Just played some last titan standing, and in the last game it was as if my team were pointless (which is a huge problem with matchmaking systems) 17 titan kills 14 pilot kills 11 assists and 3 death or something like that.
I see so many issues with this game as a PC game and I think its doomed to failure on PC because of them. Match making being one of them, punkbuster being another and so far, even though this is a game about teamwork I have heard one person speak on a mic so far, on PC that is completely unheard of for me. 23 games and literally 1 person has spoken, that really says a lot about the community that is going to be around this game.

The shotgun is entirely OP. It's a really easy instant kill and the user is almost always flying around, impossible to hit.

Been playing a lot of Attrition

I enjoy the game. It's a bit crazy and there is definitely a bit of wildness to it that can feel strange. I think I might enjoy it more on a console, probably. Overall it's fun. I enjoy the Titan combat a lot, there's a ton of variety there.
I think my fears about it being a COD ripoff are sort of true but sort of not true. I think it will appeal to the same audience, for sure, but the Titans really transform things enough to be new and innovative. I'm going to give some of the other game modes a shot. Fracture is a beautiful map, I don't like the Angel city one at all (really awkward to play on)
Try out hardpoint, it's absolutely nuts. Angel city feels like it was made for hardpoint, I've done some really fast runs from a to b.

"Microsoft is still working to resolve the connectivity issues to the Beta servers. We do expect to have servers back online this evening." https://twitter.com/Titanfallgame/status/434518569431207936

Microsoft's servers this time. Wonderful. It's a shame though, I really want to play some more, what I played was so fun.

If I can refer to the ten minute video I posted, much of what is going on doesn't involve the marquee sort of namesake of the game, the Titans. The action ongoing is not figuratively indistinguishable from Call of Duty, it is literally indistinguishable. A gun with barely any recoil gunning down endless clones of enemies and receiving "perks" and little positive reinforcements from a very repetitive lady in the top right hand corner of your screen.Again, so many people wanted to yell at Flappy Bird guy for making a derivative game, unlike these ladies and gentlemen, he didn't have millions of dollars at his disposal before making a derivative title. That's fine, they have a right do that. But I've used one word in reference to this game a lot, and that's boring. If you have millions of dollars and you bore me, shame on you. The only caveat I will provide for my entire argument is that, because these developers have signed annoying exclusivity agreements with what I consider two totally inferior content distribution platforms, I won't be able to even verify from the game footage I've seen, that this game won't induce me to snoring after my tenth kill. Again negativity towards the people making the games themselves I agree is a bad thing, but I have no issue with people disliking a game or making commentary that they feel it's pretty crassly derivative and just plain boring, as far I'm concerned that's fair game.
And as you mentioned level design, obviously it's difficult to critique the level design from my standpoint, other than to say that graphically this game does not look next-gen at all.
I totally recognize that most people are psyched about this game. I want to check back in 1 month and see if any of you are still playing it. I strongly doubt it.
to me, it's like you're complaining that Dota is boring because of its rts elements. You're missing half of the game here. The fun part of the game, to me at least, looks like the whole idea of denying others titans and all of that kind of stuff. The gun handling seems like it's put in as a medium to make a much deeper game. I bet once you get into stuff like control points and such, the game gets real intense/fun when dealing with Titans.

Here's a whole ten minute video but to be quite honest I find it makes me sleepy
I find it ridiculously disappointing that Respawn formed as an entirely new studio with the ability to make any game they wanted, and they chose to make Call of Duty + Giant Mechs. That's boring.
It's like infinity ward and call of duty. That's pretty much what I expected of Respawn, and I love how titanfall looks.

The gun was good pre-buff, now after the nerfs its different than pre-buff, it may be similar but its different in a sense so everyone must learn it again. The scope though, its awful. Visually sure, it looks nice, but its the only gun with a scope that is that style(not art wise) where you see peripheral vision and the way the scope operates is crappy too, its a tiny tiny barely visible neon green dot that shakes so much its no more useful then being a single shot gun, or not scope at all.
the peripheral vision stuff was pretty much the same pre patch, scoped ARs were always unique. The dot thing though, that could use adjustment (but it's there to promote tapping while being still, like sniper scope blur).

Half of the CS community is currently crying about the new aug scope. A single graphic added to a gun no one cared about two weeks prior.
