I feel bad for them every time they post an apologetic message. Yeah, we get it, you fucked up, but posting these so frequently makes them lose any "genuine" feeling they're intended to have.

Also, there is no way QC gave the green light for Cyberpunk.

It's just speculation. The official word is that it was put on hold while the original devs helped with hla. We don't know if they resumed work on it or are now helping with Citadel.

At this point, I almost expect to see it as another VR title. From the trailer, it seemed like the game has a bunch of moments suitable for that medium. And if development continues, I assume they're gonna have or want to port everything to Source 2, which should set them back a bit.

...New York Times mentions that, "Lawyers and investors in Warsaw are circling the situation, contemplating a class-action lawsuit against the company". That's in reference to a post by Mikołaj Orzechowski, a partner in the Polish firm Mikołaj Orzechowski who is apparently also an investor in CDPR, who writes (according to Google Translate), "we are currently analyzing, together with the law firm's team, the grounds for bringing a class action together with the notification of the possibility of committing a crime under Art. 286 of the Penal Code. - misrepresentation in order to obtain financial benefits".

Meanwhile, a press release from New York firm Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP has announced that it too is "investigating a potential securities class action lawsuit against CD Projekt SA" and calls for investors who have incurred losses to make contact."

Finished Cyberpunk last weekend, played through a very wholesome open world called Alba: A Wildlife Adventure and yesterday I started Dishonored 2.
