(sorry no dedicated topic to gravedig)
I just found out that A Plague Tale is (currently) free on PS4 store.
I already redeemed it free on Epic Store months ago ? but haven’t touched it as I’m lazy in hooking up the computer to the TV

Ah wow I missed that announcement. Doesn’t seem Sony is rolling their drums on these, it’s more the community/media that pumps it.
Have they even announced this version coming to PC as well? ?
It feels it’s just a matter of time that they do, considering all the other entries… I haven’t kept track of how frequent were the announcements/releases, but considering GoW just came out must be at least 6 months before any Uncharted comes through?
Uncharted 4 has been re-released for PS5 with better resolution and framerate.
Worth getting? See what Digital Foundry says
Don’t forget to bring a big cup to pee in. Or are they still doing the break halfway through for long ones?

Yup, it’s friendly been dedicated to me as well. I won’t let it die ?
Faceit and ESL merge, under an investment group banner (for $1.5B)
Agree with you @Buddy, the nice thing that has come out of this lost race is that Crytek has focused on alternative solutions that other companies have completely ignored, offering solutions for those that look for something more niche.
They have for example an agnostic solution for ray tracing, and I vaguely remember something like software based rendering for reflections or something…
Tempted to try this instead.

I mean they still haven’t released Uncharted, which was kinda my first priority (I played Spider-Man first because I was super eager and came with the console).
And there is the convenience of sinking in the sofa, without having to setup the PC shebang.
It was recently released for PC and set a record for PS exclusives published on PC

can’t believe I bought the PS4 in September 2019 to play the exclusives and since then Sony has started releasing to PC exactly those games.
Ha! Was coming to post myself.
Haven’t played C3 so no idea where this could be going. I thought the IP was dead tbh.
Matter of fact I haven’t played C1 either, because when I got my gaming laptop the game wouldn’t run properly (was running better on my mid-tier gpu when I tried the demo).
I don’t understand how these channels get these trailers and the official channel has nothing, there is new footage tho
This sounds almost like a threat
Zombie mode pulled because was used for farming
Spider-Man No Way Home. I enjoyed how they resurrected characters from past series. I dunno how my friend prefers Far From Home but hey ?
I love the view over the battery.

Seems a bit of a stretch to pick one bad example and apply across the spectrum. Considering it was an acquisition done 20 years ago, of a studio developing a genre of games that was on a slump and I don’t think will ever really be a record breaker again.
We know how publishers often have unattainable expectations, I dunno if voices have been silenced, or the problem is actually less prominent… but I haven’t heard more cases of games doing reasonably well and the publishers going “they sold under expectations” (I remember Square Enix complaining of TR?)
Have there been other big cases? Minecraft has become as big as it can be, Ninja Theory seems to be doing well, Turn10 and Playground Studios seem to be doing well (even breaking out of the genre they’re know for). What about a game like Flight Simulator coming back and doing so well, like who was expecting that?
I dunno, I like the MS of recent years a lot in their overall strategy, products that they release etc. Satya Nadella and Phil Spencer they seem to be doing the right choices*.
I just find wrong that is possible to consolidate so much under one banner. Let’s also think that it was only few years ago there was widespread fear/rumour MS would shut down Xbox altogether…
Wow ?
Doesn’t affect me as I don’t play anything apart the occasional COD campaign on super discount.
But it will be a massive motivator in general to get the Game Pass (are they gonna up the price?).
~
Funny is like they waited for Take-2 to make the biggest purchase in gaming, just to top them off right after.
And to think people used to complain because Explorer was pre-installed on windows.
Just rewatch Dune my friend @-HP- ![]()
Life was pretty good, at least in the first half. Some Alien vibes but I remember didn’t keep up throughout.
Stowaway on Netflix was alright.
I know they are not films but I am hoping to get a good sci-fi fix with The Silent Sea on Netflix, there is also Nightflyers on there (from RR Martin).
