That's fantastic @Corvus, I give you greenlight to send the plans to the engineers, so we can start building my new crib. Paycheck on its way.

I saw Flashback for £3.xx on the PS4 store and bought it.
Not the full on 3D remake, but the original, remastered to make it work on modern platforms with a few quality of life improvements. Played a lil bit, getting out of the jungle bit at the beginning and in the city.
Man in my head was so much more detailed, maybe is because I used to play on a small 14" CRT instead of a 50". Still the best weapon draw 2D animation that I remember seeing... I think they've lost the cartridge expulsion when firing though.

A friend of mine linked me a couple videos like these after the first Zuckemberg appearance in Congress, they were in english though. Very interesting stuff.

Oh the guys of the ship breaker game, and they got three more projects underway? :o Congrats @AlexM!
Did you get bored of the medical stuff?
Gosh just looking at the pictures on the website I get strong BC feels ?

900m sounds like nothing after that Zenimax purchase by MS for 7.5b. Sure, it's not a conglomerate of studios, but still..
Even that wasn’t that impressive, when compared to acquiring Minecraft/Mojang for 2B.
Considering the sheer amount of beloved IPs and studios Zenimax brought in, feels almost like a bargain ?

3kliks has posted a new video about a super-complete guide to CSGO weapon skins. Thought I'd cross post here the link to my post in the skins topic.

Wow, this is an impressive guide for anyone that wants to try and make weapon skins

Some numbers about noise, controller battery life, boot times. sounds like a lot is still under embargo.
Also I’m reading around that only a handful of PS4 titles won’t run on the 5External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. I thought of Blacksad (which I have in my wish list) as soon as I saw the thumbnail…
This chicken police tho seems hilarious, the art is really caricatural, makes me think of a high-budget Max Payne because of the use of real actors and photoshopping the heads in. Guess no hurt in trying it!
Thanks for the find @Radu

I want to play RDR2 as well, my partner also got interested after the South Park episode, so I showed the trailers and explained it a bit and she is curious (despite she doesn't do action); what held me up was not having played the previous one(s) and the very questionable things 2K has done when the game was coming out (sending some goons to intimidate a youtuber)... was thinking of getting it used so they don't get a penny, but since I haven't played the other games I held off.
Finishing Spider-Man took long enough and I'm still playing it occasionally to try beat every challenge.
I've been playing Need for Speed "fist-bump edition" (2015) when the EA servers decide I can play as the always-on requirements don't match the always-on availability of their shit infrastructure or whatever it is that breaks it. I would be switching from watching some YT or Netflix and the game would dare telling me it can't connect to the server ?
I also started Uncharted 2 remaster which is quite an impressive leap ahead they made, in two years development. I just can't believe they created such a terrible save system back with the original, and brought it over all the way to TLOU. I have no expectations they improved it with Uncharted 4 or TLOU 2 ?

My partner is Japanese and the Japanese government is currently giving away 8 million houses, sometimes they even give you extra money to renovate them. We've thought a lot about maybe moving there and possibly having some sort of cafe or business. Either way, Japan is WAY cheaper than Vancouver. Since I'm a programmer I can pretty much work from anywhere and stuff is relatively cheap in Japan compared to where I live.
That's fantastic! I'm surprised they have houses to give away really, thought it was hard to find as they seem so squished together in cities. You talking about apartments or other sorts?
Italy has been doing this as well for several years, or better said, local municipalities that have become progressively deserted due to youngs moving to cities. I think in most cases you have to pay a nominal fee, maybe just some law loophole, but we are talking of €1-2. The catch is that in most cases you have to turn them into businesses, cos they are of course hoping to revive those areas with these operations.

@TheOnlyDoubleF the idea sounds amazing, throw in an Airbnb for game jams
anyway was great to see your face on your facebook updates during the cycle. Grand adventure, well done! -
Wow, I would have never expected them to ride the meme train... and that would be a cool looking fridge btw.

This is fantastic: you slowly dismantle the team with the biggest lineup ever, just to hang them out to dry once you can't accept you were the one failing the team. Not only that but on with the double whammy as the coach leaves at the same time... I mean Janko was with Faze pretty much only because of Niko in the first place, and the statement he's taking a break until 2021 sounds a lot like *speculation* G2 might be waiting out on their coach contract expiration to get Janko in.
Am I the only one that can't see how Niko was ever the No.1 player? I only started following the pro-scene in 2017 so after his Mousesports tenure, but apart some impressive highlights here and there I've never seen Niko take over a game the way you expect a #1 to... at least not in game that countedExternal Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Not sure how many of you dive, but octopuses are great.
This is the heartwarming story of a documentarist that followed the life of an octopus for almost a full year. it’s incredible that a human can create a bond with such a wild animal at all, this surpasses even that expectation IMO

Well no, Stadia and Now are different platforms, just like Steam, Gog or Uplay. You don’t buy a game on Uplay and expect it to appear on your Steam account.
Just like you don’t expect to find Netflix exclusives on Amazon Prime Video.
I do get what you mean, I remember at the beginning of the smartphone era being kinda annoyed at the thought that if I changed from one OS to the other I would have to pay again for the same app. After all is not like I’m using it at the same time… but why should another company sustain the cost of distribution, for as little as it is, when you pay another company?
