Nothing completely new, but it's a complete loop of free-roaming gameplay:

Just got Angry Birds Trilogy on X360 lol. Registering a Russian account you get it for free.
Uhm.
Very simple but effective method there, thanks for sharing Chris.
It's maybe worth reposting this link that was posted much earlier in this or another topic here in the forum.
Quote from penEBeen working on a bunch of train models. They are for an improved version of de_train that's quite popular on the workshop, made by Volcano.
Very pretty train cars. Except for those blocky bogies they requested... pro-gamers are such winers: map is set in a train depot, everybody knows it, so it's fair and you should be able to see, shoot and throw nades below the cars, between the wheels etc. Why don't they change it completely, call it de_crates and put crates in place of train cars so they are happy.
Sorry for my digression, but these things really get to me.
knj: like it, very much a sunset feeling... not sure but the sky is so blue/purplish that breaks the believability imo. Rest is perfect, except the glass on the floor that seems floating.
I liked the original, I think that in there the lights you placed in the room are a tad too strong, especially the one above the closest mirror.
The concept of pop-gangster movie is ridiculous, so they managed to make it interesting with a clever montage inspired by Memento, Skrillex music and lots of bikinis.
I put it in watchlist so long ago I didn't remember there was James Franco in it, funky surprise.
Quote from StrangerAs I said before, I agree that it needs another option for retaking the site, but if I add a path there, the CTs can just rush into the tunnel and mow down a rush.
Yeah but you don't literally need to open that up like in the sketch. You could make a smaller underpass, think to cs_italy's cellar (old) route. It could go underneath and open up in the building you have at the bottom-right of the CT spawn.

Edit: uh oh!
Very interesting, in-depth interview!
Too me it sounded like he's ashamed they're using Source as a base
but yeah, they explain very well what they did so it's probably like Cincinnati says. They are truly the Doctor Frankenstein of the Game Industry ![]()
Sad thing is that being EA published we can very much expect they won't release an SDK, which is a shame with all the talent there is with Source tech.
It's fun to see that the Internet is all abuzz about console-war... then critique is applauding this very current looking game.
QuoteDigital Foundry: So are you still using the original Valve tools for things like level design?
Drew McCoy: At this point I hate to say that it's the Source Engine.
![]()
but then
QuoteDigital Foundry: In the same way that saying Call of Duty uses the Quake 3 engine?
Drew McCoy: Yeah, I mean we've replaced... it's a whole new renderer, all-new audio code, all-new net code, all-new input code for gamepad. There's some stuff that we've just improved but we've done massive changes. We have our own level editor, we have our own lighting, the way that maps are compiled...
