Impressive portfolio, congrats! As the others said, great idea to put those quotes.

The only thing I'd criticize is the text color for your descriptions, that blue is perfect for "accents" (headings and stuff) but with the small size it just merges into the background pattern. I'd use the blue from the journalists name (putting that probably in black) and/or tone down the intensity of the pattern's lines. Or just have the white background spreaded across the whole column, without a container and with those white pixels above the blue separators, it looks to me like an HTML bug or just too "floaty".

I like the lighting! But i can't remember seeing gutters on their houses.

Sentura: maybe i watched the first one in the wrong mood, but I hated its pompousness and the CG (the train especially). I might not be the only one if they've cut most of these parts and there's more action, which was my other major disappointment (what's the point of her being an amazing archer if she does never use the bow?).

I get that its kitsch presentation was part of the story/world, but the plot just seems to piece together bits from major novels and movies (above all, the ending ripped from Romeo & Juliet /rolleyes). Final action scene of Catching Fire seems really inspired by Portal 2 btw =D

Tonight i went to see Hunger Games Catching Fire, having really really, really low expectations* i actually enjoyed it: they cut most of the "big brother" crap from the first, also they've cut on the number of CG scenes (i think) so the CG bits were much better quality than the previous.

Plus I went to see it with three girls so it would have been an enjoyable evening anyway.

*first chapter was the worst blockbuster movie i had seen since Star Trek (2009).

And this week, after a break lasted 2/3 of Breaking Bad Season 2, I got around the last 4 episodes of The Walking Dead Season 3. Great ending after a weak start; the zombie in the penultimate ep is the best ever wasn't expecting the finale going this way.

I tried to watch the French film "Immortel (ad vitam)" yesterday but I couldn't get into it because I had no idea what was going on (like why the Hell is most of the film CG?!) so I turned it off.

I remember i wanted to shoot myself in a foot to keep me awake. Luckily it was just downloaded.Yeah it mostly CG, i think to remember something like they had a little budget, but i could be mistaken. Artistically it was a bad copy of Star Gate so I was tempted to burn the file just to poop on it.

I think the most baffling thing about the lack of support, is that Q3 was already running on those platforms years ago.

How much code did they rewrite?

In the SDK you get several example maps that are final maps from the shipped games decompiling does still output maps that are missing bits and pieces like in the old days?

Physically based Rendering. Its a concept that is currently being more and more adapted in the games industry

I'm now curious to throw this in some console war thread and see how the buzzword crowd will latch on it

Wow, we are already rebooting games from the previous generation? (But yeah, i though as well it may just be for tease.)

(As per TLOU, didn't they advertised it as a one-off project all along – until maybe after it came out)

As others said: fancy blockout; that said i don't understand why brushing away prefabs when you have the very same props already available, wouldn't be much quicker to place a pallet or cement wall?

So it's panoramic, and they also give you glasses?

My in-law would like to go and watch it in Waterloo... "since we are at it, it's worth watching on the biggest screen of Britain"

Saw this in IMAX last night, not a 3D movie fan but actually this was the first I've seen that was kind of worth it, brilliant film and experience

    Uhm uhm.

That's the thing I would like to do myself, I wanted to see an IMAX movie since i saw the special contents from Dark Knight. But as of 3D what do you mean? Isn't IMAX just a panoramic view?

I don't get why we have to show the whole game before we release it. I guess that's part of being a launch title for a new generation of consoles...

And that's an effort to convice hardcores, because casual will see the running themo in the shop and say "Gimme that!".
