I’m very happy the Ravenholm game was cancelled.

I know it was way in alpha but it just doesn’t feel HL, looks like what a mod team across the fanbase would come up with: goofy ideas and borderline messing up with the continuity/canon.

The electricity gun for as fun as it can seem, just seems out of place in terms of tech available for the guy: the priest builds very mechanical traps and all of a sudden turns into Tesla?

I’ve finally watched it 2 weeks ago, before they’d remove it from cinema.

TLDR: I quite liked it, but I was expecting much more - 7/10.

I feel for the runtime they could have done something more. What bugs me the most is that Riddler’s endgame was pretty rubbish, the consequences of his threat are laughable… I mean, Tyler Durden in Fight Club had way bigger aspirations!

I’m not sure how much I’ve missed by not seeing it in IMAX, hopefully I can see it again now that is coming on streaming and enjoy more, since I seen it on the crappiest tiny cinema screen of the multiplex, and was also super tired.

Funny how in a demo that mentions collision avoidance, it clearly shows the NPC go through the player ?

I dunno the video doesn’t seem much of a showcase of what they claim. A scene like the Matrix “Red Dress Woman” would have made more sense.

Also I don’t remember seeing NPCs collide in awkward ways in GTA, not even older ones.

Good graphics tho, if that could be the next Watch Dogs would be sweet

Remedy has struck a deal with Rockstar and will be remaking Max Payne and Max Payne 2.

I’m so pumped, i replayed MP2 on a yearly basis for a while.

personally I’d be over the moon if they also were going to do Max Payne 3. Criticised by many, I really liked it. It was still max Payne, had great set pieces (and the multiplayer was quite fun)… I wanted to replay it many times but just couldn’t bring myself to endure the loading times.

I think the cinematic trailer does more harm than good, is not great… do you know if is a Brit doing a very accented speech @Beck? That’s the feeling I get.

But otherwise I like how it gives me a somewhat Splinter Cell vibe, just with the different focus on guns instead.

Funnily enough I haven’t played any title ? I tenebre finding the demo of v2 (I think) too hard abs movement too clunky and didn’t want to give a chance. It’s improved in leaps, I keep getting discount notifications for 3 & 4 but I just don’t have time and I have such a back catalog

I completely missed the announcement of this title, and found out only because of some deal on one of the many retailers(!). I completely forgot posted something ages ago but the sequel probably deserves its own topic.
