I haven't had much time to look into it, but I opened the Steelseries website and I really like the design of those mice, they are ambidextrous by the look of it, and your feedback is incredibly positive so that might be my choice in the (near) future.
Sigh, lots of money going out... I also want a gamepad (waiting on the XOne only to see the Steam controller at the next event) and need good headphones as well.

It's only 5€ I know, but considering I have loads of other things on steam, I don't seem why to pay for a game that is certainly not unmissable.
Edit: to pay now. Might pick up the whole season when it's released and at a better comprehensive price
I can point out a very annoying detail of my machine: the dvd drive is very sensible and keeps opening all the time when handling the computer to reposition it, or like now when it's sitting on our laps in bed
My gf has lost her job. Luckily the cuts are gonna take place in a few months, so she has time to find a new one.
Last couple of weeks have been very taxing tho, because she's being very negative on finding something else -there are not so many jobs in the environment and conservation sector- and basically she's just in denial: she loves her job, the team, and they were starting to see the fruits of one year of work.
It's hard trying to keep her mood up

Did you adjust the polling rate at all? And when you removed the drivers did you remove everything? Registry entries, etc.
I've just used the uninstall procedure. Done a cleanup with Ccleaner yday, but dunno if system is clean.When it was lagging I thought about the polling, didn't looked into adjusting it because after unplugging-plugging back in, it stopped working as described: no pointer mouse, but buttons working.
I can try, if be happy to get it to work! Where do I look for adjusting that? When I tried to open the Razer panel (the one sitting in the clock-notification area) it said that no Razer mouse was connected! X-/

Wasn't the game supposed to be set in Rio? I remember the reveal… then I've seen part of a review and they weren't able to say where is set, now I see that screenshot and wonder whether they changed completely
Yeah exactly Friechamp, I've been at a friend of mine in Notthing Hill and there was no noise, I think London is great cos you have these very quite, very central and possibly quite green areas.
In Italy a city like Milan is quite rubbish, and its a fraction of London!

Problem with mouses like Logitech's is that they cater a lot toward the "ergonomic" audience, the ambidextrous mouses seem to be toward the cheap/basic.
I'm honestly surprised tho, was expecting people here to have gaming specific stuff.
Well neon bands will definitely have a gradient of some sort, that will help a little. Then you can inset neon bands a little in the geometry.
Instead of grids you can give a very light material texture, a grain, that might help?
