So T2 is sending PIs at modder's doors, putting them on the phone with their lawyers to issue "cease and desist" requests for their activities
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/gta-5…d/1100-6432144/
Two multiplayer mods are mentioned in the article, one already stopped activity. Apparently T2 considers these mods to be facilitating piracy, although modders deny that. First team claims to have had feedback from Rockstar itself.

I'm no modeler, but Source uses an abstract "unit" system, which is scaled on the Imperial system.
Sure if you manage to import a player game model into your 3D editor of choice, you can always use it as a reference, but I would use conversion tables, that are available on the developer wiki. The Dimensions are related to HL2, but as far as I know, CSGO doesn't change any scale (apart from altered minimum path sizes I believe) so the chart should be perfect to size objects(?)! You might find useful to know the sizing and proportion in CSGO.
Maybe the editor you are using is set on a different unit measurement scale, but you can set that before starting a project, I've found this video that shows where to find the settings in Blender, so what I would do would be switching to Imperial and at that point model to Source should be 1:1?
Can people expert on this confirm or correct me?

I started the game shortly after getting the new machine and catch up with my back catalog... started on highest setting of difficulty but was exhausting: enemies could hear me coming too easily (imo) despite being very careful (intro level).
Got to the safehouse and haven't picked it up back again. As soon as I clear the couple other couple games I suspended between Batman and Mad Max, will pick it up again (on a lower difficulty).

Seen Mockingjay Part 1, to catch up and eventually go see the last with my girlfriend... so glad it was on a Netflix I don't pay, this movie redefines the meaning of "filler": two hours of absolute nothing happening, boring scenes etc as highlighted in the honest trailer. Where's the "Everything Wrong"?

Grandmas are great, sorry for your loss Oli

First Fallout that has managed to make me interested… but after 80+ hours on Batman and Mad Max respectively, I cannot sign up for another sandbox game on D1.
Have a huge back catalog anyway… will keep an eye for offers.

Congrats on the release.
Was thinking of Treyarch and COD all the time in the past four days, I was on a trip in Canterbury with my gf and fun coincidence, the university logo is pasted basically everywhere

How are these movies? I've read some of the Sherlock novels like the Baskervilles and I think I don't want to ever imagine the thing differently from what I came up in my youth

I have the day off, could join the party. Where do you watch the matches guys?

Yes, some comments are harsh and can understand that's depressing. Think that's what gamers say when they see maps on the workshop though. They are brutal.

Sorry, I got the QTE wrong so post failed.

Paris games week 2015
between a rip-off of the hottest property of the last few years and photocopy-demos from E3, Sony managed to keep us up Until Dawn to show off a Matter of Zero (puns intended).External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. This is the most /meh presentation I've ever seen.

Shameless. I'm just curious to see if it'll get traction.

Wouldn't be better starting by distancing the CT spawn back a bit / reducing the trip Ts walk every round? The problem I always thought this map having, is that CT have too much advantage over Ts in positioning themselves, being able to pin them at bridge+water and double doors.
Distancing/shortening the spawn, shortening the bridge, opening (redesigning) double doors should go a long way, more than adding barriers and stuff(?).
Quote from laminutederireprobably, I don't deny his talents, I'm just saying that he is a respected mapper and he did remakes which is the proof there is nothing wrong about doing a remake

Don't think anyone said it's bad to make remakes :? I've actually read and thought myself that remaking a map can teach a lot. Hopefully the idea would be to spawn something much different, but "fixing" would be great.
I'm afraid that aiming to remake very popular maps is never gonna pay back in terms of popularity. But I dunno, maybe one can get lucky.
