What did you like of Prey?

There were a few nice set pieces but the gravity and portals that would have been interesting to create alternate paths and some sort of mini sandbox situation were just an upside down corridor that winds left and right instead of going straight through a room because alien reasons.

Shooting upside down wasn’t fun as one would think.

The organic design of the weapons is not exciting.

The character was a douche like Duke.

Perfect analysis @0kelvin, the two positive things that stuck in my mind are:

the “no game over yet” mini game

the gravity and spirit mode were fun in multiplayer, having bought it when people were still playing I managed to play a couple matches; I felt really smart letting someone chase me, drop into a hole and leaving my body in plain view on the other side, while I was just a few steps back in spirit and nailed the guy with an arrow.

but that’s about it, I think I did delete it after the mp session ?

I’ve considered it the worst €8 I’ve spent.

I really like the idea of the custom modes, brings back the good times of custom servers… we used to play BF1942 in LAN with friends, something like 8 vs 64 bots (or whatever was the highest number you could have).

I do wonder though how full the servers will get for these.

It would be cool to allow community to produce content, the way Valve has embraced custom works great.

Yeah, Rockstar have started this practice of keeping the price up and don’t discount more than 40% (rough estimate – maybe up to 50%) it must be working!

Really interesting, considering some AAA get a 50% off a couple months after release (I remember Rage 2).

I’m not sure when I would be able to get a PC powerful enough, and something like this I want to play on the TV so might just get it on PS4 at some point, just I want get through some other games I bought on PSN and playing the first one… interestingly RDR has kept a high price (for a used game), I missed the opportunity to buy the X360 best seller when was discounted.

It might be interesting to look at this old interview with Scofield to get context of what the original game aspired to be.

Like others said, must be something that applies to new hires, I read something last year about they were trying to get the same sort of law in regards of ethnicity, not sure if it went through or not… I don’t live in the US.

Mega gravedig because the game is getting a remake

...and I have never finished the original! (surprise surprise) I was actually quite at good point, probably 2/3-3/4 in and for some reason I paused it. And (surprise surprise) having dusted off the X360 recently, I was playing with the idea of either restarting it from the beginning (or play GOW2).
