Fantastic, didn't know this!! But I have the feeling you have to pay for three very expensive full version of Sketchup? I investigated using it as brush tool for unity and you are stuck with the proprietary format I believe, unless you pay and can save in formats that you can import anywhere. There were some plugins ford three free version but can't remember why I discarded the idea and thought it would have been better at that point just to learn blender and do only one export.

Surely they can't never tell about what happened, even how they ended with the full price tag(?)

It would be interesting to see what would happen if there was a refund option for console games…

What @dux said; I feel good with myself to have seen through the noise from the start and understand this was going to be a dull game that wouldn't interest me.

In terms of hype it must be said that gamers don't build it for nothing and it's too easy to aim to blame Hello Games.

Sorry Sprony, but truth is video game journalists pumped this; they were either blind fanboys themselves or have been paid to do so. I'm thinking of the IGN idiots, which is the outlet that covered the game most prominently, priding themselves of having all the exclusive interviews, behind the scenes… and then when this came out it blew in their faces and even had the courage of posting a video "did no man's sky lied to us?" In which they just compare the "lie" theory to the reality of game dev, with the two journalists playing good cop bad cop.

And the other big responsibility must be Sony's, it must have been them deciding the price tag, and we all know that the casual console player buys because of one trailer and the box art, so people see a full priced game and build expectations off of that.

    Definitely never seen this ?

Searched it and title rings a bell, I might have it in the watchlist.

    Dat boss fight…

a bit of a disappointing way to end the campaign. I mean probably nothing wrong with it, just you get back to the game because you were frustrated and after you beat it in 20 min you don't have more to play :(

    I'll give the ultra nightmare a spin…

25" is pretty odd, don't recall ever seeing it sold. They used to do still 23" ages ago.

Usually the name indicates the size but hey, the more the better :D important thing is that it's good and you enjoy it. I was just surprised cos it seems everyone goes for 27+

Pretty much like I had imagined it… while at the same time not really, if that makes sense?

Guess is because the "action" sequence with the aliens mimicking in front of you. Was expecting a more tense situation, at least for the unveil.

    Still interested.

@tomm you at e reaching the limit of awesome for a single map. GTFO please!

But seriously, yes art can be improved but surely you'll get good tips from fellow mapcoreans; haven't played the map myself and can't suggest anything different from what has been mentioned already from the shots.

Also: the hotel atrium reminds me a lot of one of the first UE3 promotional videos, where they were showing GO for the first time (I think)

Like it quite a lot; the stone texture becomes a bit boring (read: "samey"), also odd choice using green for the indication of bomb sites, as is the colour used for most of details (foliage, windows etc). It would look even better with some well choosen contrasting colours ;)

Right now the top down view makes it look small fort a De map.

I imagine you have top right and left side the bomb does, to p left CT and bottom three T… that straight corridor doesn't seem right, although it looks like CT can't snipe them before they leave.

Also don't see anything peculiar to Venice, I imagine the long is a canal, but Venice is famous for all the small alleys, thousands of bridges…

Anyway seen this Monday on the cheap ticket day in a small cinema.

Not as bad as people say, I enjoyed more than BvS, that imo was a total train wreck in terms of writing.

But this adds basically nothing to the DCU.

Enjoyable thanks to music and jokes, but the problem in BvS wasn't the lack of jokes.
